For You.....
Another top punk documentary from Cleopatra. As an ANL fan for many years there were no surprises but having their history put together just showed what an important band they are in the history of punk. The film also has the guts to show their "stranger" 80's period which marked the demise of the ANL part 1 and the resurrection through Metallica's inferior cover of So What. All the original members talk about their time together and how 4 ordinary blokes lived a rock n roll lifestyle. Rat Scabies provides a great perspective from The Damned who were positively saintly in comparison. Thanks to everyone involved in this production, it won't sell millions but for those of us who it matters to appreciate it. Get well soon Animal.

So What!
Great band and an honest insight into the sub culture of Royal Tunbridge Wells. First saw the band at the Lyceum at the age of 15 - at the time my best mates sister was married to Winston so got in free! Nick Culmer is right - we wanted the League to do well, Tunbridge Wells boys, get in! They made a glorious noise live and records that your parents hated. A perfect combination for a young local lad. 'The Perfect Crime' crime period was interesting to see and the honesty about that direction endearing. It would be easy to dismiss them now as a nostalgic act parading their old stuff but that would be wrong and a total injustice to what they have achieved since returning after Metallica. Their albums get stronger and their live performances with the current lineup are the most powerful ever. At the beginning it was the attitude that mattered, and that's still there, but the band are almost more relevant now than in the 80's. In this modern sanitised, no platforming, cotton wool society it is refreshing to know that in a little town in Kent, there's still a big nasty Animal willing to stand up and throw some F***s at the world!

WE ARE... THE LEAGUE!!!
For ANWL fans this is a must-have. Starting at the very beginning (as children), on through their youth and eventual meeting, this is a thoroughly enjoyable watch. Lots of early clips and stories keep the viewer entertained. The 'carrot' tale gets clarification... haha!!! These guys took advantage of every opportunity and seemingly don't regret any of it (well, except 'The Perfect Crime) either. The 'Scum' album onward gets a bit rushed... some of the later members don't get a mention at all, but hey ho. The bonus CD is entertaining as you would expect, especially if you hear the ' Altered Images' story beforehand on the DVD extras!! Long Live the League!!!

A truley great DVD+CD
What a great, honest and exciting account of the history of the one and only famous, notorious Anitnowhere league.Brilliantly created interview and documentary with interviews from memebers of the original line up mostly. the best line up plus a few surprises from others that contribute their experinces of the band as well. If you like this band, than this is a must 100% it is all so worth getting if your just into punk rock or Oi!.I have followed this band since their first album and I still go to watch them every once in a while as they truely do rock and they are a hard working, straight hoinest band. Do your self a favour mate, just buy it.

A Film For All the Family (as long as that Family is the Osbornes before they All Got Sober)
So funny. In more ways than one, as Magoo would say.And someone needs to make a whole film about Winston.
