Works as it should.
Some reviews mentioned that the kit didn’t come with a specific part (a nut?), but this wasn’t my experience. It came with clear enough directions, and I installed this toilet flushing mechanism in minutes without any problems. It is a good value because I used to pay more than $16 over the Amazon price in my local hardware store. I adjusted it so that my toilet tank fills up to the exact level that I want.

Perfect replacement for the Kohler Rialto
This valve was a perfect replacement for the Kohler Rialto. The difference seems to be this one has the rinse water bypass so it needs the vinyl hose to provide water to rinse the bowel while it fills the tank. The original valve did not have the hose or the clip. The hose is NOT included with this valve. I got one from Home Depot. We have had it for a couple of months and it works perfectly. This took 15 seconds to replace because there is a quick release coupling between the riser pipe and the valve assembly. A quarter twist and the valve portion separates from the riser/fill pipe. Super easy to replace.

Fits great as a replcement
This was so easy to install. My husband had it done in less than 10 minutes! We liked it so much and it's whisper quiet, we're getting another one for the toilet in the basement! Affordable!

Works as designed BUT missing parts
Product is easy to install and works as designed; however, the quality is poor when compared to the original fill valve that came with the toilet. The high quality copper fill valve has been replaced with a less durable plastic material that appears to have a much shorter life span. The replacement valve DOES NOT come with a nut needed to secure it to the bottom of the tank; nor does it come with the tubing needed to prevent water from spraying outside top of tank. I was able to reuse the old nut from my faulty valve as it was still in good shape...but you'll need to buy a short piece of tubing from a hardware store as the original valve did not require. So less the missing parts that Kohler should include with purchase, I'm overall satisfied with this unit and my toilet works again like new. I'm disappointed that a brand such as Kohler thought it was a good idea to replace an original copper part with poor quality plastic...just doesn't seem to fit with their branding efforts.

Works with San Rafael K3467-0. Not a complete kit.
Some of the Kohler San Rafael one-piece toilets are fit with the Kohler 1013282 Fill Valve (89.99$ before shipping from Kohler, and back-ordered). I called Kohler's customer service twice to ask two different agents whether this much cheaper replacement part will work. Both said it will not and parts are NOT compatible. I decided to follow a fellow reviewer advice (he reviewed Kohler 1068030 Fill Valve) and try despite of customer's service warning. It works like a charm and replacing the fill valves takes short of 5 minutes (I am not very handy). Another reviewer quoted the Kohler's website warning about different size between the parts and thus disruption to the lid; I measured the parts and they are of the exact same measurement. Please note that the Kohler 1068031 Fill Valve sold on Amazon does NOT come with the flexible pipe nor with the needed white plastic nut needed to fasten the valve to the tank - the old ones will most probably be usable (they were in my case) - just don't throw anything away before all is mounted.

Cheaper Kohler brand replacement for the expensive 1013282
Here's the latest, as of July 2015. I have a Kohler San Rafael one-piece toilet, which came with the Kohler 1013282 Fill Valve. I replaced that six years ago, back when that cost only $36. Today at Amazon it's $70 (Kohler 1013282 Fill Valve). The main difference is the copper stand pipe in the toilet. If your copper pipe is in good shape (no leaks outside the tank or where the fill valve attaches), then you CAN buy this unit here, snap it on, and be done. I just did that.If you look at the Kohler parts sheet itself (one example is at: https://www.plumbingsupply.com/kohlertoiletparts-sanraphael.html), you'll see that both 1013282 AND 1068031 (this part) are approved proper fill valve assemblies for the K3466 and other San Raphael toilets. According to Kohler's documentation, the difference is that if you're using a rigid connection (brass piping or copper piping) to the tank, you need the copper stand pipe because the plastic stand pipe may crack. But, if you're using a flexible connection (which, contrary to another commenter, IS included with the 1068031, at least when Amazon is the actual seller), then you can use the plastic stand pipe. Since my copper stand pipe is in fine shape, I kept it. I did replace my existing SS hose with the one supplied in this box, since those hoses do have a finite life. If you do replace the stand pipe, then you'll need to re-use your old attachment nut underneath.Attached are two photos: One showing my original unit (in the middle) with the new unit on the right, and the new plastic stand pipe on the left (not used in my installation). The second photo shows this part installed on my old copper stand pipe.Another alternative is the Fluidmaster PRO747 Adjustable Ballcock (available at Amazon here:Fluidmaster PRO747 Adjustable Ballcock). That's not much cheaper than this OEM part, and this includes a new SS hose.As for the valve itself, I'm giving it 3 stars. It's OK - it works and is a direct and easy replacement. But, they're a bit noisy, they don't last long, and you have to be sure the blue float moves freely.

Great item but to tall for our toilet
Be sure to measure the height of your tank, I thought these would fit fine but when they arrived they were just a bit to tall, so I kept them for parts as I installed and pulled out.

Perfect fit for a Kohler Rialto toilet
I originally repaired my toilet using one of the Korky Universal replacement valves. It did the job, but eventually, I began hearing a slight leak within the valve itself. This time around I went with this official Kohler replacement. It fits better than the readily available Korky valves and it turned out to be a quick and easy solution for my required repair. Money well spent.
