I watched the i1Tesla video on automating my trunk, and it worked like a charm. You do have to use it in tandem with replacement struts and a washer, but it hasn’t caused any issues with my car, and I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. I do have a spare pair now, though, so I guess I can give them to friends who are now buying Teslas. 4 is not necessary, but at this price, I’m not really complaining. Good, seems well built, and works as described.

The springs were too stiff for my application (steel targets). Not sure how you would measure this as "medium" load because it's more heavy duty than anything. I could stand on one and it will barely (if at all) compress. I ended up using it anyways but it was more of a spacer than a spring at this point.

Great springs for using on a model 3 trunk. Added stronger lifts and these springs and it opens unassisted. Just slightly harder to close. Since I only needed 2 I may try to modify the other 2 and see if I can tweak for slightly less lift but still allow to open the trunk.

They work amazingly well on my Tesla Model 3. I purchased these after watching the I1Tesla Youtube video suggesting that these would give just enough spring to push up the new struts to make the trunk open automatically. They do the job and they don't bounce around much. I was a little worried about that.

Great springs. No idea what the spring rate is, but they work well in my application.

Bought these for my Tesla Model 3 trunk. It works like a champ. My trunk now opens automatically thanks to i1Tesla idea on YouTube. Even though I love having my trunk opens automatically, it's now harder to close because of the new struts and springs. So, it's a trade off, sort of.

Fits great on the Armstrong struts.

Use these in combination with 1/2" carriage bolts to make yourself some awesome steel target hangers!!!
