The size is small, like a shallow candy dish, as others have noted.Because this was designed as a planter, there is a small drainage hole. I wanted to use it as a dish, and to protect my furniture, I added some adhesive felt to the bottom. (No more hole)I love this dish … and I have it on my nightstand to hold all those little stray items … lip balm, reading glasses, hand cream … and it is perfect for this purpose.

Very well made, sturdy, and just cute. I put it in our living room on an end table by my chair and I put wrapped peppermint candies in it.

This was a little smaller than I anticipated, but I am in love with it. It is so cute. Put some succulents in it and then put it in my bathroom window and I can help but come in here and just keep looking at it as well worth it.

This item is actually very very pretty but it’s just too small for what I was looking for. Nice addition to any home for succulent plants or anything else you’d like.

This is a beautiful *tiny* pot/dish. I bought it for succulents, but any plant would need to be really small to fit. Ceramic construction and lovely design, but it won't work for even an average size hen and chicks succulent.
