This is a fantastic add on is full of just nice stuff to have. Each player now gets their own set of dice eliminating the need to pass the one set of dice around. The card sleeves are nice to have makes shuffling cards a bit easier albeit slippery now. The new box is nice to have plenty of room for the expansions if you have any (I don’t, I have the base game with biodome and dreadnougt mini expansions) so all that extra room is nice to have and 2 extra players is nice to have too. All in all if you wanna make your space base game a bit nicer this is what to get, but if you want some gameplay changes go start with the expansions first then come back to this item if you still want some extra

Space Base has a little bit of a learning curve, but after you get the hang of it, it provides hours and hours of fun! I introduced my parents, siblings, and wife to it and they all can't get enough. We've played everytime we go to visit my family and we play through it usually at least three times. The expansions are pretty great too, I haven't played them all, but I bought one just to increase the player amount to accomodate my family, which adds a few interesting elements but it is still awesome played the traditional way.

Comes with card sleeves which I haven't used yet. Worried they will make things too slippery.Plenty of room for expansions, although I don't have them all yet so maybe I will be disappointed in the future.I actually like to play quicker games with the expedited start cards even in smaller groups.

This box is totally unnecessary, but if you are a completionist or just someone who wants more storage this box is great.

This expansion on Spacebase base game is worth the price alone for the custom sized card sleeves. As a regular at a board game meetup at a brewery I always invest in card sleeves to protect my investment in games as they are not cheep. Spacebase has unique card dimensions and the creators knew this and so when they released the expansion they included enough card sleeves for the expansion and base game set which is a life saver. Overall the expansion does not add too much to the game other than increased player count and a few modifiers. However, the addition of card sleeves and a box designed to house the base game and all the expansion is worth it. Also included is a dice set for each player which is nice for helping players keep track of what has been rolled previous by other players. Overall would recommend for those that like to protect their board game investments.

Sturdy box. Fits all the pieces well for the original and expansion. Came with card sleeves. Haven’t checked them out yet but nice plus. The new rules for the additional players make sense. Haven’t played with that many yet but I love the original game so I’m sure this will be great with 7. My game group typically has more than 5 show up so this is a welcome addition to allow us to play Space Base more often!Edit: the sleeves are high quality, but the bad news is the insert doesn’t fit them sleeved!!

This is the expansion.Do not buy this if you do not have the base game. This is the expansion.I know three people including myself who own this game. After buying the wrong part first I asked everyone else.We all bought the expansion first because it looks like the base game. It isn’t. This is the expansion. The base game is in a smaller box and costs more.If you have Space Base, and love it, the expansion (which this is) is fantastic! If you don’t, don’t buy this because this is only the expansion.Again, this is the expansion. If you buy this, you cannot play the game until you buy the base game.This is the expansion.

Great product, a great way to store and protect the game. One thing to note, this is just the expansion and storing solution, not the actual game. You'll still need to purchase the original game,

It has sleeves for the cards, dice for all players, components for 2 extra players, storage for a few expansions and some cards for a fast start.

Our family absolutely loves playing this game.

Wenn man das weiß und will OK, aber das ist aus meiner Sicht irreführend.

Doesn't contain base game, just an expansion for 2 extra players. Terrible value for money.

What a rip off! Adding the ability to play 6 & 7 players and a few sleeves and dice for $40 is unacceptable. I am returning this even though I like the base game a lot. This should have come with Pluto expansion as well, very little value here.
