Decent story line. . .
Story line jumps too much, could be smoother transitions. As a digital book, several words were broken with spaces where not needed. Editing could have been better with grammatical issues, transitions, and the overall story line. That said, I did like the inclusion of ham radio and the Bible, along with elements of science fiction. The fact that the story took place in the South where I live was a big plus!

We sprayed just last week ....
Bug-eyed aliens invade the South in this sci-fi ham-radio allegory. Some troubling parallels with the recent rise in extra-government vigilante-ism (the Feds here are paralyzed, leaving the citizenry to manage the invasion resistance) . Still,, there is compelling action, interesting characters, and realistic, well-researched detail of armaments, locations, and military protocol. An engaging read!

I have always wondered what a fiction book about military, ham radio and fighting space invaders would be like. I still do but this is a he'll of an attempt Literally could not put it down. Loved the characters even if they were a little too interesting and the story was superb. Also, as a descendent of Seminole Okla people what a kick! Thanks & 73a Dr KA5ETX

Not worth the effort.
In my opinion, it just wasn’t worth the time to read it. It was suppose to me interesting for amateur radio enthusiasts, I felt it to be extremely lame. Amateur Radio’s CQ magazine has better articles!

Please stop writing
Absolutely the worst book I have ever read. Please accept my $2.99 as an payment for the author to stop writing! It was formatted as poorly as it was conceived and executed and was barely decryptable on my Kindle readers. Zero stars (if it were only available). It could not have been more disgusting (in context, form, style, or subject matter).Really! I mean it.

A Very Disappointing Read!
Equinox held promise at the beginning, but the novel quickly dissolved into childish dialogue and a dismal storyline. Loosely a Si-Fi novel with a vague nod to amateur and shortwave radio, this is really just a war novel, of sorts. There is a heavy leaning toward biblical references, which did not help the story at all. The book is full of religious references and quotes that just got in the way of the story. Take this, for instance:"He said tell you that in your honor he named the artillery pieces Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. He said that they will preach the gospel to the locusts" Captain Green reported. The book is also full of American jingoistic, gung-ho dialogue. For instance, this next quote appeared repeatedly throughout the book:"Patriots, freedom fighters, and champions of liberty. We live free or die. God bless the Resistance."Parts of American society might lap up this rubbish. But for international readers who watched from afar four years of Trump's ravings, I would imagine that this nonsense would be a big turn-off. It certainly was for me!The writing is simplistic, the characters are almost cartoonish, and the "jokes" between characters are lame. I pushed on through to the end of the book, but my invested time was wasted. Pity!
