I have tried a few cheaper rolled up mats and they never lay flat. This one is delivered flat and stays flat. Very tough with a nice finish. I had to cut it around my desk, very difficult as it is tough but worth the effort.If you need to cut it then use a Stanley knife with a new blade and a metal straight edge and take your time with lots of light pressure cuts and eventually it will cut though.

I oredered two of these initially and was pleased that they protected my floor. I then ordered one more only to find it did not lay flat when opened with the correct side facing downwards. As I had a good experience with the first two, I ordered a replacement. This one doesn’t lay flat either. Useless - both are going back for a refund.Update: I contacted the supplier, Mat Stores UK through Amazon to point out the problem. They replied to my message immediately with a recommendation that I place a new order directly through their website. This I did. Just over a day later I received a new mat which this time lays perfectly flat. Surprisingly, it was also rolled up the same way as the previous two, so I can only assume the mats in stock with Amazon have a fault in manufacture. I recommend buying the heavy duty 120 x150cm mat for a hardwood floor direct from Mats Stores UK for the time being until Amazon replenish their stock.I am pleased with this purchase. The mat looks hardwearing and should protect my floor for a long time. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I had to return the two mats ordered from Amazon.

I am a BIG guy and put one of these under my office/gaming chair 38 months ago. Despite a hard life, it worked perfectly but just recently started to show a crack starting under one of the castors.Naturally I replaced with the same. Reading reviews etc makes polycarbonate a no brainer and experience gives me confidence in this make. It arrives loosely rolled in a big box. Once unrolled it takes no time to go completely flat. If it works half as well for you its twice as good for me.

This chair mat met all my expectations. It came flat in the packaging. It is sturdy, sheer and does not slip. I have been using it for a few weeks and have no complaints. It’s a little more expensive than others but I am super happy with it.

Seems like good quality and a decent size for an office chair with castors, but after 4 days neither end will go flat against the floor so catches on a door and will be a trip hazard

Protects the floor as advertised. I'm using on a laminate floor with a 5 wheel office chair and it does the job perfectly. The only issue is that it is prone to slippage if you step on it at a particular angle with pressure. Other than that I am pleased with it.

My home office is set up in a room with laminate flooring. Got this to replace a synthetic fibre mat that was curling so much it became hard to use and clean. Been using it for several months now. It genuinely doesn’t curl at all, doesn’t get marks from the chair’s casters and it’s easy to clean.

Good and sturdy and stops the chair from being too slippy. A little less see through than I thought it would be, but does the job well.
