Q: what color is the fabric?

I would not consider it beige...it more like a honey colored. It gives off a nice warm glow under our pergola when the sun is shining down on it.

Q: Where is this manufactured?

Doesn't say anywhere. However there isn't any odor and material is same as Coolero shades.

Q: How does this hold up to wind? We live near a small mountain and we get strong winds all year long. I also want to make sure it won't collect water

Just use the clips and tie it down well.
