Czech Glass Seed Beads Size 6/0 (1 Ounce) (Blue Turquoise Grotto, 6/0)

Clearly this states 450 beads and it’s NOT ! I counted mine because I knew it didn’t look like 450 ! And it’s NOT ! I counted 280 !

AMENDMENT: After buying Top-Brand Famous-Maker 6/0 seed beads, these seem to be more like a size 8/0. Maybe a "7/0" - but the point is, they're noticeably smaller and I cannot use them with my Famous-Maker 6/0 beads because the difference is obvious. If I do design some knitting where the size difference becomes part of the design, they'll work together. The color is very close. These also are glass that's colored all the way through, and it's fairly sturdy as well, so I'll definitely be able to use them - just not in this specific project.- More annoying is that the hole size is less consistent than that of the Famous-Maker 6/0 beads. A number of them are too small even for my 0.75mm crochet hook, arrgh! I can't knit with those...-------------------------------- On my monitor, the color is spot-on-precise - the only "setting" I have on the monitor is factory-RGB with a wee bit less red. Since monitors do vary, I'll also note that the color is very much like the natural turquoise stones I've seen. - These beads are indeed glass, and GOOD glass at that - surprisingly sturdy! They also are colored all the way through, not just painted or dyed, HOORAY!, so the color will remain true even if some wear occurs.- They seem to me to be consistent in size, and the holes also seem to be consistent - and easily accommodate a US-#10/1.15mm crochet hook (Susan Bates) with a loop of #10 Red Heart crochet cotton on it =:-D

Bought a bunch of beads to experiment with a project, these are the winning purchase! The color is off from the photo, but it matched my fabric better that way so I'm happy about it.

These beads are smaller than the regular 6/0 size. When you decide to return them, the fee is 11.99 for UPS pickup. Don't buy unless you're sure you're going to keep them.

Very disappointed. The color combination is nice, but too many matte beads in the mix and not enough of the transparent and silver-lined beads. But main problem is that the beads are not uniform in size so they look bad when strung. However, I am not going to bother returning them because they were only $6.75 so I will just pick out the good beads and discard the rest.

The picture for this item shows blues (light & dark), greens (light & dark), and some purple. What I received were medium to dark blues and greens. Most Czech color mixes have transparent & opaque beads, lustered, silver-lined, and some metallics. This mix is unlike all the other Czech bead mixes I bought from many different sellers.

The beads are beautiful and when the light hits them they glitter beautifully. Color is as they say and I am happy with the purchase. I'm learning to do bead weaving and I hope these beads work. They do look so much smaller then the size 11/0 that I have seen on youTube, but maybe that is because of the close up they do. Hopefully I got the right size beads, if not no problem I can use them anyway. I do love the color and they just glitter.

These beads are in the tube on the Left. It came in a small plastic bag, I’ve recycled a tube to better store them. The color is bright and cheerful, with an orange undertone. It’s nice for my purpose. Thank you.The one to the right is from a local craft store with a dark or black undertone.

Measurements not accurateI looked over the specs carefully to ensure these were the exact right size-- 4mm with 1-2mm hole size. These are much smaller, less that 4mm with the hole not even approaching 1mm and the diameter of the bead at maybe 3mm. The quality of the beads is decent, but be aware of the size discrepancy in the description.

This bead mix is even more beautiful than I thought it would be. I'm buying more right now. I also love the packaging with labels on everything that I buy from Beadaholique. My only negative feedback is: 1) This is a bit expensive for the amount you get. The quality is excellent, though. I will try to find other beads that I can add to this mix when I make projects to save some money. 2) I found the shipping to Canada expensive. I would purchase way more jewelry making supplies from this seller if they could offer better shipping fees. I paid around $20 CAD in shipping. It makes this item even more expensive for me. I gave the item five stars because it's one of the prettiest bead mixes I've ever purchased. However, I wish Beadaholique would either make most items a bit cheaper or offer lower shipping fees.
