D-Link PCI Gigabit Fast Ethernet Network Adapter Card 10/100/1000 Desktop PC (DGE-530T)

The network built into my mother board wouldn't operate at gigabit speeds for some reason. I bought this card, put it in, and immediately was at a gigabit speed on my network. It is easy to put in and the only configuration was to turn off my old network card on the mother board in the bios at boot. It works great and has definitely speeded up my work and my network. I never have any network glitches or dropouts with this card. A great card. I have been using D-Link network products for years and find them to be among the top performers. I recommend this card if you want more speed.

Installed this to solve a really annoying driver issue on a PC with a GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 5.0) motherboard running Windows 10. Could not get the drivers to work for the on board LAN due to incompatibility with Windows 10 and a possibly dead LAN port. I'm tech savvy normally but this stumped me and I was done fooling with it. Bought this because it is low profile, as I have a Radeon 7970 graphics card in there and it almost covers up the whole motherboard. This is short enough that the fans can still move air around it and I'm not having overheating issues. Connection is solid and works great for gaming, husband plays PubG and Vermintide II with no dropped connection.

If you've seen NICs (Network Interface Card) before, this is pretty much the standard for gigabit speed. I find D-Link to be one of the most reliable products around and so far, I haven't seen a single problem with the product, very reliable and I highly recommend.

Easy to install. I did as others have suggested and turned off the motherboard network adapter in the BIOS before installing the new drivers provided with the card. I loaded the drivers and the card was immediately recognized and functioning. Speed tests indicate it's taking all that's available from my provider. Only time will tell. BTW......Amazon sent this in one day!

eggs-zackly what i was lookin for (in a way). was hopin that i could boot from it. sadly, if you are tryin to boot from a pcie (usb3.0), it'll NEVER happen because it takes the OS to recognize the card (& load drivers) before it can be used. in my case, best to buy a box with native (on-board) usb 3.0. good for expansion, however. as is, product worked as it should.

I have a gigabyte network and a 750mbs download speed from my ISP. This card is only able to download at 250mbs which is 1/3 of the speed it should be The previous Network adapter that went bad was able to download at 750mbs A W10 desktop right next to this one on the same switch is able to download at 750mbs I may keep the card as an emergency backup, but I will be ordering another card today

There not a lot to say about a Ethernet card it’s very easy to install and software and driver setup is really simple and fast. I get good performance out of this card.

My cobbled together home entertainment PC made a fairly smooth transition to Windows 8 except for the built in networking. I couldn't get on the internet with a cable or wirelessly. This Gigabyte card was the right price for the fix I needed. Popped it in, did the install steps, and I was back on the net. A lot more cost effective than replacing a motherboard.

Bought 3 of these. It's been 2 months and no problems. Been using it on Windows 7 64 bits and Windows 8.1 64 bits. Definitly increase the speed of my network. Used to be around 10 MegaBytes/s for files transfert ( Ethernet 100 mbits/s ) and now usally around 50-80 MegaBytes/s ( 1Gigabits/s ). Remember that 1 byte = 8 bits. Some nice features and properties. For 10$ each, i couldn't ask for more, wouldn't have been surprised if one of them didn't worked. I recommend.

Ich habe den D-Link DGE-530T gekauft, um meinen schon etwas älteren PC mit Gigabit-Ethernet aufzurüsten, nachdem ich bereits den D-Link DGL-4100 Gigabit Router hatte. Es gibt von D-Link zwar auch einen etwas günstigeren Gigabit-Netzwerkadapter, den DGE-528T, doch da dieser nur etwa 1 Euro billiger ist, habe ich mich für diesen semiprofessionellen PCI-Adapter entschieden. In der Packung befindet sich neben dem normalen Anschlussblech (ATX-Standard) noch ein kürzeres, 8cm langes Blech. Das längere kann von der PCI-Karte abgeschraubt und gegen das kürzere ausgetauscht werden. Neben dem Ethernetanschluss befinden sich 4 Statusleds mit den Beschriftungen: Link, Full, 1000M, 100M Die ersten 3 leuchten bei mir, d.h. die Karte zeigt mir an, dass sie mit Gigabit-Geschwindigkeit arbeitet. Mit einem zweiten, ebenfalls gigabitfähigem PC habe ich einen kleinen Geschwindigkeitstest durchgeführt, ich habe eine große Datei zwischen den beiden PCs übertragen. Zusammengeschlossen waren sie via besagtem Gigabit-Router. Mit 100Mbit/s dauerte die Übertragung 1min 21sec bei durchschnittlich 5,56 MB/s Mit 1000Mbit/s dauerte die Übertragung 47sec bei durchschnittlich 9,52 MB/s Mit Gigabit-LAN steigt die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit also etwa auf das Doppelte von 100Mbit/s, doch das ist, glaube ich zumindest, normal. Bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden mit dem DGE-530T.

This is an old card but given the PCI interface so don't expect modern bus speeds but that said, I installed this onto a Core2Duo motherboard and it worked perfectly with Ubuntu Server and gave proper gigabit throughput's when tested so it still does the job If you have a spare PCI-E socket then go that route but this is great for those of us with older hardware to support Installation is simple. Plug in the card, plug in the ethernet cable and that's it. I didn't need to mess around with drivers or configuration

Pas de surprise, fonctionne immédiatement et très bien (35Mo/s en premier essai, la limite étant les PC en jeu). Relativement design... très satisfait !
