OGIO Women's Brooklyn Tablet Purse

I was looking for a practical purse that would hold up to abuse without being ugly. I love the design of this bag! It has a nice, sleek, but cushioned compartment for my iPad that you don't even notice is there with the bag unzipped. There are spots for pens and a big zipper pouch for smaller items. I use it as a purse and it works great. I can throw in bigger items like snacks or books with no problems. I have an Ogio backpack that I love, but I was afraid since it is that same backpack material that it would look like a backpack, but the color and texture of the weave pattern really mimics a pretty blue wool peacoat weave. The buttons are adorable, but they are also my one complaint... The front pocket flap has what would be a great, useful front zipper pocket for things you want yo get yo quickly...keys, cell phone, tissues... But they are real buttons that hold it shut and they are REALLY tight, so it is a huge hassle to get into that pocket. I considered just leaving them unbuttoned to keep the flap free, but then you can't see the buttons and they are the main design feature that makes the bag cute :( if it had slightly bigger button holes and a pocket perfect for a cell phone, it would be perfect.

I am one of those women who carry their whole life in their purse (and sometimes ends up becoming a pack mule for her friends and family), and after SEVEN YEARS of my use and abuse I finally purchased a new Ogio bag in the color Peacoat (navy blue), mainly because I wanted an update (I like the covered buttons and the interior fabric better on the new iterations), and I couldn't wait any longer for my old Cobalt one to wear out (though it's still in fairly good shape).Very well made, I absolutely love the styling, and the color is GORGEOUS. I have gotten more compliments on my Ogio bags than any other I have ever owned. The canvas fabric is a bit stiff, but easy to clean; dirt just brushes off. I love the black and white chevron interior; it adds just a touch of whimsy. The strap is fairly wide (3.25 inches at base, tapering to 1.75 at shoulder), which I personally like, but may be uncomfortable for some people; though it is long enough for a medium sized woman wearing 3 to 5 layers to sling across her chest and still have the top of the bag fall at hip height (underside of strap is 38 inches from seam to seam). My only complaint is about the outside pocket. Not only is it small, it is hard to get to, what with that flap, and all those buttons. To be honest, I don't even use it. To be even more honest, there is so much room in the interior that I really don't need to use it.That said, I'm always amazed by how much I can fit into it! At one point I was carrying around my Kindle, my fiancé's Nook (because I'm his personal pack mule), my wallet (which rivals that of George Costanza), checkbook, change purse, two 16oz. bottles of water, a sizable set of keys, a fist full of cosmetics, a small first aid kit, a whole bottle of ibuprofen, an assortment of odd junk (which I desperately need, but never seem to use), and a large stack of old mail. And I still had room!In a nut shell, the best $40-ish I've ever spent (twice). :D

My favorite bag to hold my iPad safely. Love all the organizer pockets. Interior is a little difficult to see what I’m pulling out, kinda dark. Otherwise love it.

I bought a 2 pack of Ogio bags but this was the one I was really shopping for. It reminds me of a Peacoat. The lining is nice, has some padding and a nice design. The strap is wide and makes for a sturdy purse. I have an Ogio golf bag and will definitely buy more of their products.

I love the look and feel of this bag. The size is perfect and my iPad 2 fits easily in it with a regular case on it. I also love that the inside is made of material that is easily cleaned. I am very disappointed in the length of the strap. It shows that it is a crossbody style purse which is all I use. The strap is barely long enough to put over one shoulder and when you try to put it crossbody, The purse is above your waist and not comfortable. There are also no card slots requiring you to use a wallet with the purse.

I absolutely love this purse! It is comfortable to use, and it fits all of the things I need with room for more. It is sturdy and not "floppy" like many taller purses. I have received so many compliments on it and I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

The Brooklyn is the best purse I've ever owned. I formerly carried designer leather bags and now I only use this bag. It's cute, well organized and very comfy to carry. I use it daily and own more than one color. The canvas material is super durable and takes a beating without showing wear. I am 5'4" and medium build and the strap length suits me perfectly. I love the wide strap the doesn't cut into you when you are wearing it. I have found that I can easily access the front hidden pocket without undoing the buttons. I like that there's a secret secure pocket in case I need it. I've tired using other purses at times and always end up switching back to this one. Would love to see more colors in the canvas. How about a dark fushia, or a gray with little bits of sparkle woven in? A nice cognac or brown would be great too.

I hate purses but I saw someone wearing this one at a conference and thought it was cute. It's not fancy, but it's a great everyday bag and I receive compliments on it regularly. I was even happier to discover that it can fit my work laptop in the padded pocket which makes this perfect for travelling on public transit without having to carry a bulky laptop bag.

I have another one of these and it has lasted me for years. I thought I would stock up on another one in case my current one decides to "die." Lots of big pockets and the over the shoulder strap makes it into a great messenger bag. Lots of room to store whatever you want so shopping is nice as you can just put all the small items in there. Has a zipper padded pocket inside that will fit a tablet just fine. The price is a bit high from what I had bought it for before so would have to find another vendor/retailer if I wanted to buy it again; otherwise, it's a great all around bag to use day-to-day or on a road trip.

Practical. 3 compartments. Even fits my mac. This my third bag and love it!

Luv this bag - padded pouch for my tablet and plenty of other pockets to organise and stash your belongings. Interior cloth seems durable and because it's a light print, makes it easy to find your stuff. Was worried I might have to adjust shoulder stap, being 5" but fits perfectly, if I can find again at the right price I will get another in a different colour - very happy.

The strap is wide and comfortable to wear either over the shoulder or crossbody. Great padded center zipped sleeve to cushion i pad, e reader etc. Roomy without being too big. Front pocket both zipped and buttoned. It isn't easy to get into but a great place for keys and key fobs.
