Rockport Rope Doormats 2038302 Indoor and Outdoor Doormat, 20" x 38", Navy Blue with Navy Blue Insert

I purchased this doormat for outside of our front door. I saved it and didn’t open it ,( Major mistake!), as I was going to surprise my husband.I was waiting to buy the geraniums for our front porch in June and then put it down. I opened it today and was so disappointed! It is not a hard and sturdy rug, but feels more like a soft bath mat or thick cable sweater! It would never survive outdoors and I feel like someone would surely trip on it, for sure.I went online to Amazon and noted on the list of purchases in 2019 that it was returnable only until December 2019. I thought it was like my previous doormats that I bought locally in a garden store. I really don’t know what I will do with it now. 😞Expensive lesson learned.

I have been hunting and hunting for this very rug, mat, whatever you want to call it. It is an outdoor mat w/ heft and holds up to scrapping off muddy shoes. It feels like an indoor rug to bare feet. I've had the rough textured rope mats which are great for scraping boots, but painful to tender summer feet. Not this mat. This one is soft and thick. Also important is the drainage. I've had the rubber backed mats, and they are fine on concrete, but not good on desks. They seem to never dry and cannot be good for the wood surface. So far, this one seems to drain very well (I've had it a little over a week, w/ a couple of mild rain showers) and dry quickly. Love it so much, I'm buying one for my daughter.

This is a beautiful rug,exceeded my expectations. Lovely colors, and soft on the feet. We are using inside next to a sliding glass door, onto a tile floor. It does not slide. Even my husband, who usually criticizes my Amazon purchases, liked it and asked if I was going to buy another. Highly recommend!

This product is very nice looking. We have a busy household with two Golden Retrievers and a lot gets tracked into my house. The mat that got the most use collected a lot of pine needles and other items so that it needed to be shaken or vacuumed more than the mats that have hardened roping.

Finally a door mat that is worth what it costs! It looks great; feels nice on your feet, shakes out nicely...and its washable too! Even our dog likes it; he runs over and stands on it like he's king of the mountain. My only complaint is that I bought something else first that was so bad we repurchased this mat the same week, and were out the funds, sure wish we had spent a little more for this one from the start!

Pleased with the craftsmanship of this doormat. Soft but sturdy. Heavy enough to stay put on a windy day, but not too heavy to give it a shake every now and then to remove leaves. True colors; Navy with a tan stripe looks stylish and now our neighbors own one too!

I wish I would have found this years ago. Don’t hesitate to purchase. It lays flat, doesn’t move in the wind, is soft on feet, catches dirt as my dog walks over it, doesn’t fade. Also looks good and textural. Not a cheap looking rug.

It's a good sturdy mat - we got two to go with our newly renovated kitchen which now has hardwood flooring. They have stood up to snow, ice, salt and mud during our nasty Canadian winter. One is at the door from the garage into the kitchen and the other is at the patio door to the back yard - hence the snow and ice! They are very easy to clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that dirt drops onto the floor through the mat so you need to clean under them every day - which is easy with a hand vac. I would recommend them.

Having recently bought a grey one of these, I was so pleased that I purchased the black one too!These doormats are so stylish, well made and practical - perfect!

Great quality product - of course you pay more but in the long run it is worth it!
