Fender CD-60S Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Solid Spruce Top, Natural

I orederd this guitar as a back up instrument. I am almost 86 yeras old and play very little these days due to quite severe Osteoartritis. However I play when I can and enjoy it. The instrument arrived very safely packed and it is extremely well built and a pleasure to look at. I had read that others found the action low. It is certainly very comfortable to play up to the third fret but when I moved up the dusty end to play in Bb or Eb it was a little high for me. This may be the guage of strings. Because of Artritis I use Elixir .010 to .047 Nanoweb coated strings and will be changing to these in a day or so. The instrument is fitted with two strap buttons which is important to me since I always use a strap. I would advise begginers to do likewise so as to be able to concentrate on fretting without the left hand also balancing the instrument. I am very impressed indeed with the sound quality but will reserve saying anymore about this until I have changed to much lighter strings. This guitar is much more than an entry level instrument and I would certainly be happy to stand up and play it in a folk club as an accompanist (I can't sing and play at the same time!). I say this having owned and played several Martin giutars in my younger days. It is a full size instrument! A bargain at the price.

i bought this for my 40th birthday, as i've been desperate to learn for years. it's an absolutely gorgeous guitar, really great quality as you'd expect for a fender, and perfect for beginners like me given it's size and ease of tuning. it arrived well packaged, in great condition, thanks to the durable packaging used

Out of the box it looked and sounded great. I tweaked the action a little lower and it’s now perfect. For the money it’s amazing. The solid mahogany top gives it a sound that is resonant and bright.This would be an ideal beginner's guitar or for someone, like me, to compliment more mellow guitars when recording.

I really love this guitar — it’s my very first one. But a couple of days ago, I discovered that it has a flaw, and a very noticeable one at that. Every time I pick it up to play, I can’t help but see it. Even though I bought it at a discounted price, that doesn’t make up for the discomfort this flaw brings me, because after all, it’s a work of art!

Arrived promptly. Packaged very well. Well set up straight out of the box. Loves much better in reality- photos don't do it justice. Sounds great.

Fantastic guitar for the money. Easy action and great tone. Had to contact Fender though as Amazon said and a label on the guitar said one months free online lessons but when I went online it said only one weeks free lessons.

Was looking forward to this one. But im not good with guitar, im a beginner..so when it came and said need to fix the neck and string your lines. I was lost. So iv just sent it back now . Would have liked to have kept it unfortunately .im not good with guitars. Must say. Looks a lovely nice wood guitar . Pity gota fix neck and string .for a beginner. It's a non starter

I have received a damaged guitar as shown in the pic , also inside of the guitar i can clearly see minor damages on the wood that could worsen over time.In time i did place replacement request and waiting for it.Highly disappointed purchasing online.
