Rage Powersports Harbor Mate 3 & 4 Step Boat Boarding Ladders

There's many a slip...between boat and dinghy. And clambering from the water after an unanticipated submersion into any vessel is a major challenge. To the rescue comes the Hook-on Boat Ladder. Proudly I note that, so far, it remains untested. The only concern is the diameter of the over-gunwale curve. On a catboat it is not wide enough to hold over the side but it can be used over the transom. The ladder folds flat and is stowed easily.

This ladder will only function for a boat with just the right size gunwales and shape of the side of the boat. It was a miserable failure on my 16 ft Carolina Skiff due to the width of the hooks and the miserable excuses for support arms. The support arms will likely not work on any boat due to their poor design.

This would be a great ladder if the support pegs would stay firm against the boat. They collapsed when trying to climb the ladder and caused my hand to be crushed from moving to the side and pinning my hand between the boat and the ladder. Very unsafe

My boat is my baby, I reviewed ALL boarding ladder types and configurations on Amazon, and chose this one.Very pleased! The boat supports can go on ANY rung; the specifications don't state this. The boat supports can also be adjusted by about 1/2", which isn't much, but enough.This is made in Taiwan, which generally means higher quality than China-made products.Very lightweight; folds almost flat (the supports fold in, but aren't completely flat).I decided that I prefer a four rung ladder.For the record, I didn't get paid or given any free items for this review!!!

I received a damaged ladder with missing elements which I sent back the same day. So why 5 stars? For the fact that, despite the fact that the seller refunded, after a few days he sent me a completely new and functional ladder from which I am 100% satisfied without charging a fee.

Works great after you modify it with some 1/2 inch pvc where the ladder meets the boat.

i just tried out my ladder on my 17' smokercraft. it fit perfectly with no adjustments necessary. i was a little worried about it's strength but was surprised that it held up great to my 230# weight.very light and easy to stow.thanks. dennis from traverse city, mi.

Unfortunately the ladder was too short for what I needed it for but we still are able to use it. It's very sturdy and arrived super quick. Customer service was great. A wonderful small business I would buy from again. I've had many good days out on the boat thanks to this ladder.
