SHIMANOButterfly Flat-Fall Fishing Jig, 130G, Black Anchovy

I go Tuna fishing out of San Diego CA every summer and these jigs catch me Tuna every time. You definitely want an assortment of size and colors depending on how big the fish are, but I haven't missed using these. In fact I prefer them to live bait now, I can get away towards the front of the boat from all the bait fisherman and don't usually have to worry about tangles with other people on the boat. The Tuna almost always hit these jigs on the drop but on my last trip I caught a 15lb yellowfin tuna by casting into the moving school of fish and it was like the jig never hit the water it just kept on going!!

The product quality is decent but the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. I bought this as a gift for my nephew but I'm thinking of how to repackage so it doesn't look so shabby. I don't know much about these products but I personally found the photo and description to be slightly misleading. I thought there were 3 but it's only one. That may be my own ignorance.Improve the packaging and you'll have a much better product.

Works great! Just let it fall to the bottom and reel it up a bit and let it drop again and repeat. I only got a couple of these jigs, because I wasn't sure how well they worked compared to the Shimano Flat-Side Jigs which are awesome. I did catch some snappers in Costa Rica with these jigs before losing them to the mackerel slicing the line. Would definitely buy again.

Excellent Jig! So far I've caught yellowtail, and hooked a BIG bluefin tuna on these jigs. They work!

An Absolute must for your tacklebox, I threw this into a boil of Yellowtails and got hooked up..other two people with flat falls hooked up also..I've caught everything on this lure..Sardine is my favorite color. Used it for Yo-yo and killed it!
