Soft enough, not too soft to tear in playing; not too hard for small dogs mouth & teeth!
I have a small dog, 20 lbs. and he loves to play fetch, favorite yellow bone was so used & torn so have been trying to replace. This new one fit the bill in that it was yellow, latex so not too hard, thick enough not to tear, squeaker works quite well😜🥹 my pooch is having a great time with it!

Not sure how durable it would be for an aggressive chewer, mine doesn't chew it. Adorable though-my dog loves it.

Highly recommend
My blue healer usually destroys toys within the first day or two, but this one has stood the test of time. The squeaker isn't too loud to be obnoxious, either. Great value.

So cute but not durable
Super cute toy!!!! Our Yorkie loved it but it had holes and quit squeaking in no time. Pretty thin material.
