Absolutely loved it!
This true story was very interesting on several levels. It's all there--the good, the bad and the ugly of life, but it's mostly heart-warming.I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about the Black Deaf experience in America during the past century, before integration and the ADA. It's quite a cultural eye-opener.

I really loved this book.I couldn't put it down.She made a lot ofdeaf friends at the school.She also made some blind friends.I laughed and cryed with her.You should get this book.
