Strobel OrganicWaterbed Mattress Hydro-Support 1800 King,

Seems to be very well constructed with heavy thickness vinyl. I would say it is about 90% waveless. This mattress is extremely comfortable for a good nights sleep with the correct amount of water in it. If it is overfilled, it is too firm for my taste.

I bought this water bed because my 12 year old water bed was springing leaks every few weeks. I wanted a bed that was extra sturdy and would not give me much wave action. I will have to wait a number of years to find out how sturdy this bed is, but from how it is made, I imagine it will probably live at least as long as my last bed.I had no problems filling the bed and I have been sleeping soundly on it for over a week. Although the mattress is not filled any more than my old mattress, the back support seems to be sturdier. I guess the best review I can give for this mattress is to say that I do not think about it after I get up. It does not slosh around when I am in it and I have no complaints about it while I am sleeping.

This is the second mattress from Strobel. The first one lasted more then ten years. We did some remodeling in the house and felt that it may be time for a new mattress. Unfortunately this mattress has many small holes. They are very small and they could have happened during packaging or shipping. The warranty that comes with the mattress states that the flat parts are not covered. Until this problem, we loved Strobel mattresses. Hopefully we can find all the holes and repair them.Update:We informed Amazon about the problem. Although the return date had passed, they replaced the faulty mattress at no charge to me. I bought this mattress a couple of weeks ago. I have been sleeping on a waterbed for decades. I wanted a mattress with an extra thick liner. The problem I am having is that I cant sleep on it because it hurts my back. It feels like I am laying on a slight incline which ends up causing me back pain. The features describe "lumbar support with 6-10-6 fiber layer waveless system". I don't know what this means but it doesn't work for me. I need to have a flat bed that is uniform throughout. I will probably have to throw it out and buy a different mattress which really sucks because this mattress was more expensive than others listed.

I bought this for a friend. He said it fit perfectly in his California King bed and I have not heard him say anything negative about this product.

The mattress is great and the lumbar support area really is a wonderful feature. My old mattress I had for 20 years and I was pleased with it until I got this. Truly a better quality of sleep.

DO NOT buy this!! The company is impossible to deal with!! It is so terribly hard (even if you adjust the amount of water that you put in it.) that we had to buy a $220.00 topper so we could sleep on it! Ridiculous! so-so disappointed!

This waterbed is great! It was easy to fill and if you follow directions about the amount of water to put in, you'll sleep well every night.
