This pillow is the best solution to help keep my spine straight! I use it above my hips when sleeping on my side. It's not too thick and has the perfect amount of support. I HIGHLY recommend it!

This littel pillow really helps me out when I am laying down. Decent support. I haven't used it for long stretches while sleeping So, I can't speak to that but when I am lounging around and need a little support it does the job.

TL;DR - buy this for lower back pain.I don’t usually write reviews but I’m hoping my experience will help others. I originally bought this pillow thinking I could lay on it and have it support my lower back. I have severe lower back pain that usually presents after I get up from laying flat. The first time I used this pillow I used it as I originally intended and it didn’t help - made things worse. The second time I used this pillow, I put it under my knees while I laid flat on my back - BACK PAIN SOLVED!! I took off stars because there is nothing “cooling” about this pillow. It’s mildly comfortable with the case it came with but I figured out how to origami fold it into a pillow case and it’s become my must-have item. I’m going to bring it on my travels with me as well. Worth the money and I’m glad it solved most of my problems.

I got this to help with my lower back and hip pain while sleeping. It isn't the most comfortable at first and actual made me have worse pain initially. After a few nights of use the pain eased up and wasn't bad. I'd wake up in not as much pain, so that is a plus. Downsides, it takes a few days to get adjusted to it, you need to get it in just the right place or can make your back, hip or sciatica hurt more and make your leg(s) slightly numb. It also does not keep you cool, so the cooling foam is not true at all. Likes memory foam, seems to keep its shape pretty well and zippered cover of easy cleaning if necessary.

These are fantastic! I purchased two of them and use them side by side.This reduces pressure along my backbone and coccyx when laying on my back.I have multiple sclerosis, and as a result due to immobility, I don’t have much padding to provide cushioning for lower body.I am mostly a side sleeper, and with these pads side by side, they provide great relief to my greater trochanter area.These pads are a great help when used in pairs

This lumbar pillow was exactly what I was needing, and didn't know it. I have sciatica occasionally, and while the pain is in the legs, the problem is in the lower back. The solution has been exercise and a lumbar support on my chair. But we spend a third of our time in bed sleeping. The very first night I used this lumbar support, I had a terrific night's sleep and woke up completely without pain, and no stiffness or anything from having used the pillow. Simply put, it works.As for it coming with no cover, it actually has a quilted cover, but you wouldn't probably want to remove that for washing all the time, because it conforms and clings to the inside memory foam. A pillowcase works for a quick cover. You could run a seam up on long side to make it more narrow, closely fitting the lumbar support. And a zipper across the end would close it up. Dry cleaners can usually do sewing like this if you can't. This cover is a little loose, but won't matter when using the lumbar support.By the way, it doesn't get hot to sleep on, either. Can't recommend this lumbar support enough...to everyone.

I ordered this to help with back pain after a lumbar infusion. Spent a little more for it because it says it has cooling gel, which would have been perfect for after surgery. There's none here. I've ended up just using one of my big pillows that has cooling gel. This one is very firm, too hard to lay on it the way they show in the pictures. That hurt my back. And the cover is NOT washable. The inside of the cover came out of the dryer with every article of clothing in there attached to it. It was weird, never seen anything like it. Had so much fuzz, I had to get the scissors and cut everything apart. I do NOT recommend this pillow!

My new memory foam mattress does not provide the support that I need for my lower back. I did all the necessary homework in choosing a mattress with proper support, but the memory foam conforms to my body and doesn't support my lower back which then causes sciatic nerve pain down my leg. This lumbar pillow is firm enough and high enough to provide support to my lower back relieving the pressure on the sciatic nerve. I thought memory foam mattress meant that it would remember how it was when first purchased (supportive) instead of remembering how it conforms to the body (becomes soft)

I have severe back pain and I cant sleep on my bed due to lower back burning. This pillow was perfect to provide the support I need to sleep without pain. I tried 6 of the top brands of lumbar support bed pillows and this one worked the best for me.

Tengo 3 discos deshidratados y a veces con el uso de la bolsa de mano me duele la espalda baja... al dormir me seguía molestando la espalda hasta que un día me puse una almohada y solucionó mi problema, el tema aquí es que me quedaba sin almohada en la cabeza, esa noche encontré esta almohada ... una maravilllaaaa que sinceramente tengo miedo a acostumbrarme a lo bueno jaja.. sin dolor sin nada. Pasé una noche sin dolor.. sin pensar en cómo me acomodaría esa noche.. se las recomiendo ampliamente
