One way is through pores within your skin, causing blemishes to break out all over your skin like a 16 year high school kid. At 33, that's both frustrating and disgusting at the same time.YES!! I've been a dedicated customer of this product for over three years and have consistent positive results. I order it once per month along with a few other items on my monthly Prime account. I used the Pearls YB version for about a year and a half, but recently switched to this form (IC) at my doctor's recommendation because it provides such a positive support during pregnancy.I had been taking two pearls at a time with the YB version to promote feminine health. The directions indicate taking one per day, but I easily get a yeast infection (sorry, TMI) monthly. One per day was not working. I wasn't about to give up, so I confirmed with my OBGYN and regular GP that it's safe to take two. I did and never had a problem again. No more constant calls to my doctor with yet another infection. The same scenario goes for this version, it is an incredibly effective and reliable product.With the IC brand, it not only improves feminine health, but also helps with the taboo issues that often go hand-in-hand with pregnancy (constipation, gas, and irregularity). Once again, to help prevent unwanted illness during the winter months (which can be dangerous to baby, plus miserable for mommy because you cannot take any OTC products without significant risk to your baby) my doctor recommended this form (IC), two per day if one wasn't efficient. I don't like yogurt, and for the safety of my unborn child, it's essential that I take a probiotic in addition to the norm of Folic Acid and DHA that's so crucial for brain and neurological development. Even better, as I said it also helps remove toxins from your body in a healthy, safe way that makes my body operate like clock work; comfortably and safely.I hope the pointers I've made here will help you make an informed decision. I've found that both Pearl (YB) and (IC) are incredibly useful and amazing products.

Before taking Pearls IC I was having intense stomach pain 3-4 x per week for no apparent reason. No nausea, no diarrhea or constipation...just pain. My sister was already a fan of Pearls IC and suggested I try them. What a difference! I now only experience very mild pain occasionally (once or twice a month if that) and as an added bonus, my immune system is firing on all cylinders. I don't want to jinx anything, but I haven't had a cold since I began taking the Pearls over a year ago. They are small, easy to take and they don't have to be refrigerated. Also, buying box of 90 from Amazon is the best price by far, and they have always arrived within a few days. I would actually give 4 3/4 stars if that were possible. I didn't give 5 stars only because I still get the very rare instance of discomfort, but honestly it's such an improvement I feel like that is quibbling a bit. I don't know why anyone wouldn't at least try them!

This little pearl helps my lazy bowels to move. It helps with upset stomach issues.

Started taking these as recommended by pharmacy in Spain whilst on holiday. Have divertular disease and not long after having a diverticulitis infection!
