AWESOME
I loved this book! Some exercises were not necessarily applicable for the group I used it on but I still had a lot to choose from. I used it for our Ministry Summit at church and it was very effective. I love the Kindle version because I was able to make notes and make it more relevant to our ministry. Very gauging activities that really pushed the group to think together and build Teamwork. Of course depending on the personalities of your group you will have to be sure you are ready for everything because one misunderstanding can really damage your program which if you are doing more than one which we did 4 different games in one night, you should strategically place a fun game in the beginning and the end just in case the in between gets off course a little. It will help to keep the atmosphere pleasant and momentum up. My group absolutely loved it, so much so they are suggesting the leadership incorporate this into their Leadership Training.

a very useful intro to team building exercises
The book has a great and thoughtful beginning section with practical advice about ensuring success. Some of the exercises are a bit too intricate for beginners and may be resisted by many members of a group but most of the exercises are well chosen and useful. The author makes the essential point that the debrief is most important in making team building strategies truly worthwhile.

Very useful book
Sometimes when people from the Caribbean buy books written by North American or UK authors, much of the content is not applicable. However I have found many of the exercises in the book to be extremely useful. Am currently running some management training here in the Caribbean where I'm from, and have used a number of the exercises. They are simple, easy to follow and the great thing is that the author gives you variations you can try, depending on the group you have.My book will have "dog ears" very soon from frequent use!

expected more
i was excited to see what gems await me inside this book to help camaraderie in my office, but after reading some of these ideas, i decided to return the book.everyone is different but these were not ideas i was looking for. perhaps they may be good for you.for example:one idea in the book is to break up your group into 2 teams. give each team a deck of cards and see which team can pass the cards down the line quickest.another idea was to imagine you have a bunch of old washing machines (or something like that) and each team you has to figure out a way to sell them (which is supposed to see how the team can be creative and work together)maybe this is one book you 'look inside' before you actually buy. or maybe the ideas are actually good, and i didn't give them enough of a chance. sometimes i can be a hard grader.

Affordable book, easy to do activities
For the money, this is one of the best activity books you will find. All of the activities are easy to set up and easy to complete -- but they do all serve a purpose. When the author says that these are 15 minute activities, he means it. I am an independent leadership consultant and I have started using this book over and over again when I present workshops. You'll love it!

Team Building Made Easy
Great teams are made up of talented people who use their unique talents to accomplish common goals. Great managers nurture their teams by recognizing the individulas and their contributions to the team effort. The team building activities in this book are fun and easy to use to rally the group and get them moving in the same direction!

easy read
THe activities were fun for the employees to do although, some of the activities required a bunch of employees rather than a few. I would recommend the book for supervisors wanting to do easy teambuilding exercised.

A book that keeps its promise!
Of the assortment of books I have in this category, this is the one with the most sticky notes popping out the top and sides. I use games in this book regularly in classes I teach or workshops I give. Team building will always be an investment of time and effort well spent. The preparation is minimal and the payoff is big. Great resource!
