I compete with my dogs and so they are often in the backseat of the car with the hatchback open for air. I needed something really sturdy to make sure they were safe and secure. I have two very strong and muscular pit bull mix rescues. This barrier has worked like a charm. I never worry that they can break out. It’s so sturdy! It fits perfectly in my VW and was easy to install. It does loosen over time, however, and recently when we went to tighten it we realized we had lost the top knob that secured the barrier. Travall responded In less than a day and is sending a replacement free of charge. BTW, even though it was completely loose on one side, it held my 60 pound male who was trying to get out this last weekend. Expensive but TOTALLY. worth every penny!

This fit my 2017 vw golf s absolutely really nicely. The install instructions were a little hard to follow, but the installation required no tools and took me 10 minutes even in the pouring rain. I'm very happy with the product!

This pet barrier for my 2015 VW Golf TDI is great. It is very well made and sturdy. I have no noticed any rattles or buzzes from loose parts in this barrier. I really liked the design of this barrier because it is so well custom fit to the vehicle it almost seems like an OEM accessory. It was also important to me that the barrier did not push on the headliner of the car like many others I checked out before this purchase. I could be wrong, but I really thought that would be a flawed design that could hurt the stickiness of the headliner adhesive. The only reason I'm giving this item 4 stars instead of 5 is because I thought the price was too high. It cost me around $200 to get this item from Amazon. I would highly recommend this product, especially if it had a slightly lower price.

When looking at wagons, I actually discounted one car (TSX wagon) because I could not find a Travall for it. I'm not kidding. I'm on my 3rd one, having used it in an A3, Jetta Wagon, and now an Alltrack, and honestly for me this is a requirement. It's not as easy to take up and down as in the A3, but that's a function of the car. It's easy to install, zero rattles, and does what it's supposed to do.I'd used the ones that press into the headliner, and they're all universally terrible. If you own a dog and a GSW or Alltrack, buy this.

This pet barrier fits my 2016 MK7 Golf R. Assembly and disassembly is quick and easy. There is no pressure applied to the headliner upholstery. In fact, all the pressure is applied to metal parts that can handle the stress. The instructions were detailed but I somehow managed to install this incorrectly 3 times, 3 different ways. First the flaps were oriented to incorrect angle for seats, then they were backwards, then the screw threads were upside down. It looks like it belongs with the car instead of a cheap aftermarket assembly. No squeaks or noise so far on the road.

Bought for my 2013 Golf. Super easy to install and very sturdy. It doesn't rub against the interior at all, and it looks nice too (compared to other pet barriers on the market).Only 4 stars because you can't put the hatch cover back on when it is installed, and it's not a barrier that you want to put in and out often. You have to be okay with your trunk contents be visible, or have the cover not fit correctly. Not a huge deal though.

Excellent design and very sturdy. A little tricky to install, but pretty easy once you figure out how it works. No rattles and my pup loves having her little space in the hatch. Looks pretty cool too, in my opinion.

A few more parts than I expected buts installed and does the job great. Fits my 2018 Golf.

Very pleased with this. Definitely best dog guard I’ve ever purchased for fit, build quality and it’s not over intrusive. So happy we ordered another product.

Es konnte uns kein VW Autohaus helfen was passendes zu finden.Material ist solide, mach mir keine Sorgen das etwas nicht längerfristig hält. Die Montage ist einfach. Das einklemmen hinter den Sitzen ist clever gelöst denn ein Raumwunder ist Kofferraum vom Golf 8 nicht.
