This was an incredible deal when we bought it for about $12, namely because the download card really did work so it was like we weren't even paying for the case and charger.The case is high quality, we've had it over a year now and it still looks brand new. It's sort of soft on the outside but has a hard inner shell. So while the games stay protected inside, if little brother wants to throw it during a tantrum, no one is getting stitches when it hits older siblings head.The inside of the case has several little elastic bands to hold the games down, and they are sturdy, strong enough to hold them down, but flexible enough that little fingers can get the games out, and in.The cord on the charger is amazing. It can go all the way from our dash to the back seat of our Jeep and reach my daughter, who is actually still rear facing so it has to go around her car seat, and it STILL has room to spare. To be honest, I don't like weaving the cord like that (I worry about a choking hazard in an accident) but we spend a lot of time waiting in the car for appointments so it has come in handy. Regardless of length, it charges just fine, which is the main goal.Even at it's current price (about $25) I would still recommend this. The $15 gift card takes the price of the charger and the case down to about $10 and it really is worth it if you are on the go a lot.

When I bought our leap pad 2, I saw mixed reviews for the battery/ power situation. Here's the deal, it requires batteries (I recommend buying rechargeable AA batteries). There is no internal battery pack included with purchase and from what I gather, they don't exist for this model. This plug is for the vehicle outlet and it fits securely. I highly HIGHLY recommend the travel case if youre taking it from home. My son (3yrs) dropped his leap pad within the first couple days of owning it and the case protected it. There are about 12 slots for game cartridge storage within the case but there isn't enough room for power cord storage. All in all, great buy considering you also get the $15 online credit for games. I happened to buy right after christmas and was able to get 3 games as a discount (most are $15-20 full retail). They come as a digital download when you attach the device to your computer.

This was a great buy and worth way more than the purchase price. The $15 leapfrog code that is included can be coupled with sales and specials on their site, making this deal an absolute steal. The car charger is long enough to reach the kids' leap pads from most ports in our mid sized SUV, and given the leap pads tend to devour double A batteries, this is a great work around for long car trips. The amount of "I'm bored!" statements coming from the back seat has decreased dramatically since we added the car chargers to our road trips. The carrying case itself is fine - sturdy - like all of the leap pad carrying cases that preceded this one. It stands up to the normal bumps and bruises inflicted by toddlers and young kids.

I just recently received a Leapfrog Leappad that fits this case. I wanted something in which I could store it safely until my grandkids visit and I came across this set. It not only provided a safe case but also a car charger and a download card. As I got the package at a sale price, in the end, the case and charger were thrown in with the cost of the card.The case works great and the charger does its job. I am very pleased with this package and recommend it to anyone who has a leappad.

This is a great addition to our Leappad 2. My children use their leappads in the car all the time and it's so difficult to remember extra batteries for those long trips. With this bundle, you get the case that hold not only the leappad, but also several games, a car adapter for hours of entertainment, and a $15 download card! The adapter has a long cord so it will reach the back seat without a problem. The case is great at protecting the leappad and keeping the game cartridges all in one place. The only issue I have with the case is the zipper is tight. My children have a hard time zipping it up by themselves (I have a hard time zipping it). The case also has a strap to hold it by that is attached to the zipper. I have purchased 2 of these and love them as do my kids.

I recently bought a used Leapster Explorer from a thrift store. Then I went about finding some games and things for our trip coming up. I was excited to get a $15 download card for less than $15 on here. Plus having the car adapter will be great to not drain batteries on the 15 hour car ride. I didn't think we'd be able to use the case as it's for the Leappad. Surprisingly though, the Leapster Explorer fits in it just fine with room for the car adapter as well. It's certainly not a perfect fit, but it fits and can zip closed. My daughter is happy to have her own case for her own "game pad" as she calls it. Awesome product even though we are not using it for a Leappad!

Amazing deal! My daughter has been needing a carrying case w/ cartridge slots for her leappad 2 power Doc McStuffins edition and a new charger since her wall charger got left at her dad's a few wks ago. I was shopping for a charger when I found this bundle with both plus a $15 Download card for under 12 bucks!When I was reading reviews I couldn't find any remarks on the LP2 Power , only that it worked as an adapter(doesn't charge) for the regular leappad 2, this car adapter DOES charge the Power, just like the wall charger that comes with the LP2 Power, you can plug it in and play and it charges while you play.
