Great seasoning to recreate your favorite Hello Fresh Recipes
I had subscribed Tell a fresh and really enjoyed a bunch of the recipes. I wanted to try re-creating some of them with a step-by-step instructions that they gave me but of course when they have some proprietary spice blends it’s difficult to do. I found this on Amazon and tried it I have not ordered it twice and I really love it. It is a really good mimic to the Tunisian spice blend that they use in the recipes for HelloFresh.

Not a HelloFresh dupe
I loved the Apricot, Almond and Chickpea Tagine from Hello Fresh and was hoping to recreate it on my own. This spice was very unlike the spice I got in my meal kit. It was very pepper heavy and the seal was broken when it arrived. This product also has no return policy despite the broken safety seal.

"sealed for my protection" sure thing.Arrived with the plastic sealed very crappily, but when I proceeded to open it the seal is busted already and inside the container. Not eligible for return. Of course not. Thanks for NOTHING.

Not that great.
I was hoping it would taste similar to HelloFresh but it tasted quite different. The spice was heavy on the nutmeg and it kinda overpowered the whole dish.

Taste terrible
I would not purchase again. Terrible taste.

Not Tunisian
This spice mix is more better labeled Moroccan Five. These spices will never be found in Tunisian cuisine, aside from cloves in couscous SOMETIMES. Tunisians do not ever use nutmeg and cinnamon in their foods. My husband is Tunisian, I live in Tunisia half the year, this is very misleading. Please rename it to “Moroccan Five”.
