Fits, works, construction could be better
I don't work on telephone systems, but I hope this review is useful anyway. I just happened to come into possession of an “interesting antique”, an old Harris Dracon TS21 test set, which had a poorly modified and shortened cord, and I wanted to restore it to usable condition.This cord did indeed fit that set, with one caveat: the original cord's outer sheath had an extension with a ring terminal which was bolted to the interior of the test set's case to resist pulling the cord out; this one does not have that extra terminal (as pictured). However, the cord is firmly clamped by the plastic case when closed, and I do not expect to be abusing my “antique” by yanking on the cord, so it seems adequate. I assume the modern test sets this cord was sold for rely entirely on clamping the cord at its entry.The cloth-wrapped wires are lightweight and flexible and have the same feel as the original.The Y-junction where the clips and RJ11 plug separate is a lumpy, stiff four-inch-long splice located halfway along the overall length. The cloth wrapping is expanded around the lumps, already showing some fuzz from wear; I suspect that this will be the first part of the cord to wear out. The stiffness of the splice makes it awkward, but still possible, to wrap the cord around the body of the test set; one must sort of lay it down crosswise and continue wrapping.The RJ11 plug has no snag protection for its tab.

These fit my Fluke 77 series II VOM meter.
The quality of these test leads seem to be top notch. The kit comes in the reusable zip bag too. The versatility of the leads will cover most anyone's needs right away.

Hard to find this type of replacement for Harris Butt set!
Had to do a little digging on Amazon to find the exact replacement for my Harris Butt set and for a good price! Easy to replace, while I was into the replacing of this line cord I also installed a new battery!

No snagless boot on RJ 45, and splice is large and stiff.
Materials are high quality, but . . . the splice to attach the RJ45 was large and stiff, and the RJ45 really needs a snag-less boot (my fault for not noticing that before ordering. I plan to cut it apart and modify myself.
