Pet Champion 20ft Welded Chain Tie Out for Dogs up to 85 Pounds

This is a very sturdy, weighty chain. Works perfect for my dog because he apparently can break tie out cables, but I think this will be built to last for a long time with no worries of him breaking it. I would advise anyone with a small dog to NOT buy this as it will be TOO heavy for them. In fact, I would advise against using this for long-term wear at all because of the weight and consideration for comfort of your dog. My dog uses it very sparingly throughout the day so he doesn't jump the fence, but since he mostly prefers being indoors his time on it is very limited so not a bother.

So far so good. I purchased a spiral tie out stake and a red cable with it. I've had my fair share of high energy clever dogs and knew from the past that chains snap, and cables can be chewed, so this time, we doubled up. I've wrapped the cable around the chain and secured it in a few places, then I just clips one to a harness and the other to the collar. So far so good. The chain is a decent length and seems to be of fine quality. She doesn't really like the weight of it but she's a big puppy, she'll get over it. Plus this is her own doing for jumping our fence. Whole yard to run and she had to go visit each of the neighbors' yards. This is only day one, and she's already ran to it's end, hard and everything held fine. So we'll see how it goes.

It met my needs and expectations. I ordered a longer one from another company and had trouble receiving it so I bought this one and it’s plenty of of length for my dog out when he is outdoors. We live in the country and wireless fences cost to much so this is a great alternative to that.

My dog breaks every chain. Bought this 2 years ago and it’s still holding strong.

I have a chewing machine who has gone though 6 wire tie downs in a year so I had to get something stonger and this fits the bill, I did buy 2 so he could have a larger area to run around the chain is stong yet still light enough it's no heavier than a wire tie down.I know lots of people think it's inhumane to keep dogs on tie downs but it's no worse than keeping them in 20x20 kennel outside IMO he runs free most of the time but sometimes I just have to put him on a tie down for his own protection and this one works great.

To put dogs outside to go bathroom. It isn't sturdy because it broke.

We have 5 pointers and only one of our pointer can hop a 6 ft gate. Some sometimes when shes outside by herself be have to hook her up to a steak. She is extremely smart and have dug up steaks or have broken other chains. We have tried other chains or devices before but so far this was the best. And its not too heavy.

I bought this for my dog and the one side of the chain doesn't open to put him on.

Does anyone know where to get a chain that won't break? Every single one I've bought from amazon over the last 4 years have links that are poorly welded and snap easily. My dogs have ended up in the woods many times and I'm lucky if they come back dragging half of the chain behind them.
