Sturdy. Long water spray. Stays where you put it
Update: 5-29-2024... One of the sprayer heads stopped oscillating. It got stuck. Unfortunately, it was 2 days past my Amazon return date BUT... Melnor has a 2 year warranty. So I went to Melnor.com, explained my situation and, without question, they are sending me a new sprinkler. AND... the head I bought last year from the big box store is leaking, they are handling that too. GREAT PRODUCT... AMERICAN Customer Service as it should be. I am waiting for my delivery. Thank you Melnor... :DThe Melnor Watering Sprayer is a good choice because it works well. Covers well and is adjustable to short or long range. I like it. It stays where I need it to stay, even with heavy water pressure. I can hook it up in Tandem. I even changed the neck to about 8" higher with a threaded post to spray over my bushes and flower beds. Yes. It's a great sprinkler head.

I really like the base of this sprinkler
Sprinkler works great although after a couple weeks of use it broke, but I had plenty of extra heads to put on it. I bought it for the base.

Extremely fragile - 4 broke with minimal use
The stake that you push into the ground is made of extremely thin, weak metal. I bought this 2-pack and within the first 2 days of using, when trying to press the stake into the ground, it broke off on both sprinklers. I returned them for replacements and those also broke. Further, prior to the stakes breaking off of the two replacements, the one sprinkler stopped working in the return direction. So, this means that I could no longer use it in less than a 360 degree configuration because when it hit the stop, it could not go back. The other sprinkler had the spring that's needed for it to operate pop off of it's anchor points multiple times from gentle manipulation. It's a total pain to get it back on. Bottom line: this are cheap junk and will not last. The stakes are just absolutely unbelievably weak and will break on you. I would recommend that you spend your money on something more durable (which is basically anything else).

Doesn't spray as far as advertised
Product is easy to set up but I forewarn you that this item only sprays water about 45-55ft.

Covers a large area and is very sturdy
I had one of these from a few years ago but I needed a second one to build a DIY system that would cover a wide area of grass with a two outlet automated faucet controller. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. This is a little more expensive than other brands but it is sturdy and stable and really does cover a very large area. The head is totally tunable and is made of brass so it will last a long time.

closest to an OLD time impact sprinkler i've had for years
This is the same Brand name, but as we all know, nothing is made exactly as it used to be. This is as close as you will get to a 20+ year old impact sprinkler. Mine had a long steel spike that went into the ground at least 16", these are about 12" aluminum, but the DO, Do the job. So, my review is these are good units and throw a lot of water over a considerable distance. They have multiple adjustments available like the old style - screw that breaks the water stream, a flat panel that will also 'flatten' the stream. So, again, these are the best on the market for a LONG range sprinkler for a large yard.

It works really well
I will start by saying that when I received the sprinkler it was missing its head. Make a quick call to Melnor customer service and within 3 days they sent me a new head. Connected everything together and worked like a charm, I was impressed with how sturdy the unit was.

Works well for my situation
like the quick release plugs so I can leave the sprinklers in the ground and snap in and out as I move around the garden. They are made of plastic so long term they might not last compared to metal ones but for the price and my use I think they are perfect.

Serious piece of kit
Light. Very strong and well made. Seriously good spray and coverage with decent water pressure. A serious garden piece of kit. Will work and will last. Sturdy metal construction. No nonsense agricultural standard.
