iRobot Roomba 891 Robot Vacuum- Wi-Fi Connected, Works with Alexa, Ideal for Pet Hair, Carpets, Hard Floors

Hands down the best cleaning product I've purchased. I have a busy, unpredictable schedule, but my roomba is how I manage to keep my place tidy despite that.What the roomba is faced with:- Fur and pet dander from 2 dogs (one that sheds an insane amount)- My long hair- Dust, dirt, and other random particles- Large 1 bedroom apartment (hardwood + carpeted bedroom)Pros:- Can pick up everything from dust to hair to pet food and does a THOROUGH JOB!- Battery lasts long enough to clean the whole place- Debris holder is spacious, even when there's a lot to pick up- Maneuvers well; can even navigate in between my dining room chairs- Easy to clean and replace parts if needed (haven't needed to replace anything yet)- Transitions well between carpet and wood; even cleans non-stationary bath matsCons:- Finds one spot to occasionally get stuck in underneath my bed (but will send an error signal and shut-off, rather than wasting battery)- Side spinner brush stopped moving for unknown reason- Will "spit out" the pet hair on the carpet if the debris holder gets way too full (but it's still in a nice little pile that's easy to pick up)

Before purchasing this product, we had so many issues on our main level due to having 3 pets and dark hardwoods. The day after we vacuumed it seems to look the way it did before vacuuming. We used a Dyson and it would take about 20 minutes to do the entire level. Plus, the Dyson wasn’t great in hard floors anyway. So we got this on Amazon day last year and it completely surprised us by how great it was on both hardwoods and carpet. I’m convinced it’s better than our Dyson picking up pet hair and dander. We schedule it 3 days a week on half of our main level (pet gates keep it out of the other half) and then use it in a few bedrooms on the weekend upstairs. It keeps the place looking so much cleaner than we could do ourselves if we vacuumed every day. And it works while we’re away! A slight disappointment is that this product is not as “smart”, as I was expecting. It does stop on cliffs, moves along walls and cleans up extra dirty areas by hovering in that area for an extra few seconds. But it doesn’t know it has already vacuumed an area, so it could go over one area several times and miss others. I’d say this product is perfect for small to medium rooms that don’t have complicated layouts. It does great in guest rooms and even large bedrooms. But not great on a full level - it won’t cover it all. Also, this thing never docks itself - it always just stops once the battery dies.The most amazing thing that put me over the top with this thing is that it can get under our bed. Our cat lays under our bed a good deal and the fact that it can get that hair and dander under there is worth every penny.This roomba has changed our lives. im a complete believer and will probably never spend money on a Dyson again. Our next purchase will be a Roomba that can do an entire level, recharge and dock on its own and also remove the waste in its own.

I had a lot of doubts about robot vacuums. Mainly, any not using some form of mapping. Since those are still priced like military grade hardware, I tried to find the smartest dumb one I could. After about a week, it's been doing three different floors of our townhouse (700'/floor). One carpetet, two a mix of area and throws. Here's where we're at:Pros:- So far, this one has been a brilliant idiot. Meaning, it manages to do the entire area pretty thoroughly despite not mapping them. We live in a typical rectangular rowhouse/townhouse. We're light on clutter, but we're also not minimalists, either, so there's an obstacle course to maneuver. I bring it to different floors different days, and it manages to go end to end, room to room--without flying down the stairs--very well.- The suction is very good. Despite regular human vacuuming, it has found a lot of new dirt. I suspect now it's like brushing your teeth where manually it's fine, but a timed electric is just going to put effort needed to really suck up the dirt.- I have had to rescue only a handful of times, and some small adjustments to our space have cut those down further. Like wondering how xmas lights tangle themselves, you'll be amazed the ways it can easily drive into a space it can barely fit. Still, it does manage to find its way out in time.- It appears the battery is replacable. That was a big one for me.- Battery recharges pretty fast.Cons:- Battery life is a bit low. On the carpeted floor (avg household plush), 60min seems to be about the limit. On hardwood/mixed, 90min is no problem, but near empty.- BIGGEST complaint is the dirt tray. For one, it is a bit small. That would be forgivable, but the app won't tell you it's full. The unit has a light, and it knows when it is full. For some reason, the last mile of tech to have an alert letting your know isn't there yet. It will tell you it's stuck, done, etc, but not full. What's worse about that is it's doing a lot of extra work, with worse results, running full. Better would be to have an alert, and even the option to halt until it's empty.- The bump/drop sensors have been issues. We have an area rug with a 1/4" woven edge. Not only does it bump off it most the time (hops up there when it has the momentum), but I have had to rescue it once exiting the rug. It's just a typical home improvement store rug, so I wasn't expect to be treated like a jersey barrier around the coffee table. What's worse, those Ikea chairs with the wrap under legs with 1/2" of wood? Climbs those like Edmund Hillary.As much as I like it overall, it's best bought on sale. I think their whole line has a premium price tag, kind of like getting a Lexus-bot. It is worth getting the 891 vs the 890 to save some money, or it has been for us. The difference from what I understand is no remote. If you have a phone and home wi-fi, or you are able to cross the room and press the button to start it, you can save some serious money.

Funciona muy bien cumple su propósito, solo debes tener cuidado con algunos muebles que no están con la altura necesaria para que pueda pasar por debajo. Buena retención de carga en su batería (dura sin problema los 90 minutos) recolecta muy bien con su aspiración. Recomiendo lo limpies después de cada uso ya que se enredan los cabellos en su cepillo circular. Excelente producto, ayuda mucho en el mantenimiento de la limpieza. Es una excelente inversión.

Tengo 3 felinos y la casa siempre estaba llena de pelos ahora con la roomba está bien limpia mi casa. Es especial Para mascotas es poco ruidosa y fácil de mantener la aspiradora

Luego de 4 meses de uso "Rumbas" sigue funcionado muy bien. Levanta polvo, pequeñas basuras y el pelo de mis mascotas. Sería genial si tuviera un compartimiento más grande para guardar lo que recoge ya que rara vez logra limpiar todo el departamento (que es algo grande) sin que haya que vaciarlo (sobre todo por el pelo de las mascotas). Así que en mi caso, activar la roomba estando fuera de casa funciona a medias, ya que sólo alcanza a limpiar una parte del departamento antes de que se llene el compartimiento. Fuera de eso todo genial, tarda en limpiar todo el lugar pero definitivamente la Roomba recoge sin problemas polvo y pelo que no se ve a simple vista.

Excelente. Lo mandan desde USA y llega sin problema. En cuanto al funcionamiento, se nota que el piso lo deja bien aspirado. No es ruidoso. Solo pensé que en la app me mostraría un diagrama de la casa para ver por donde ha limpiado y después me enteré que eso era para modelos mas pro.

Esto a sido la mejor inversion, con 5 mascotas en casa ya no me daba a basto con la limpieza, recoge el pelo muy bien y deja el piso limpio
