16' (5M) Fixed Floor with Extra Windows

My husband I are brand new when it comes to camping, but we knew we needed a quality tent. When we started searching for tents, we found that there were a lot of retail name tents with mixed reviews. After doing a little digging, we discovered Psyclone tents. What caught our attention, was the universal praise and strong endorsements from consumers. The only bad review we found had nothing to do with the tent, but rather the customers bad experience with something unrelated to the product. We trusted our instincts, and bought a Psyclone 16’ 5M fixed floor with extra windows (priciest version). Our first camping experience was at Galveston State Park, which turned out to be a location with VERY high winds. Despite 30 mph winds and being first time campers, we had no problem setting up the tent. We’ve only been able to go camping once since we received the tent, but we absolutely love this thing. We had a minor issue with the tent we received, and Psyclone was quick to respond and resolve the issue. We can’t wait to go camping again, and we cannot recommend this company and product enough. You may pay a higher price than some of the tents you’ll see in big box stores, but this is a quality tent that is well made. If I had a chance to do it all over again, I’d still buy this tent.

One of the selling points for this tent was the quality of the zippers. After a total of 5 uses, the zipper got jammed. I can't close it. Too late to return it, and no place to get fixed. Disappointing to say the least.

Loved it! This tent is amazing, just as described and the quality is great! It’s very spacious and looks great! I highly recommend it !

I had to travel quite far with this and it is very heavy. About 80 pounds. But it is gorgeous and sturdy and totally rain proof. I highly recommend this for car travel. I flew with it but it was for an art performance so it served our purposes wonderfully.

Very pleased with this purchase. Bought this to accommodate family during upstate NY family reunion. Have had lots changeable weather….. heavy downpours, some warm stuffy nights and some unexpected cold nights. A queen bed/ box spring, dresser and small table, suitcases fit with room to spare. Electricity provided small lamp, a fan for warm nights and a warm feather coverlet kept the couple very comfortable. It was simple to set up. The yurt is very durable and rainproof (unless you leave a door not tightly zipped). The windows give a wonderful cross breeze. The gravel filled base, built by my SIL, added to stability and drainage with all the rain. Well with the money.
