Laksa Paste - 7oz (Pack of 1)

Perfect amount & taste for what i needed for, a bit pricey but n choice since not in shops. Will buy again.

I purchased LAKSA Paste about a week ago and today I made a great soup. I put together the recipe a bit differently than the jar suggested. I sautéed onions, scallions, garlic, ginger & cilantro before adding the paste (1/2 jar) and full can of coconut milk. I also added a 1/2 bag of kohlrabi veg pasta (from Trader Joe’s) and 2 cups of water. After heating up all of the liquids, I then added fresh cod and shrimp and put the heat on simmer..OMG, this paste made a very tasty flavorful soup, making enough to feed 4-5 people! I bet this soup with be even more amazing come tomorrow.Yes, I will order another jar, real soon.

My husband loves to cook Singaporean food and bought this as Christmas gift. He gave me 2 stars but I will be fair and give 4 stars since it does give generic laksa taste with very strong garlic flavor. I am a garlic lover but this is too strong and also salty. If you put less paste, it might taste like water down version too. We added ours seafood, fish balls in it, still I dont like it

My jar also arrived open - leaking all over the place with the freshness seal popped. Sadly, it was a waste of money and time. Now I have to try to figure out how to get a refund through Amazon.

Product was fine, but way to expensive for one meal.

I’ve used this for soups and rice dishes and found the flavors gave a deliciously wonderful taste.

Malaysian Laksa Soup is so exotic and delicious - but how do you find all the ingredients to go into the paste if you don’t have an Asian or Malaysian market nearby? Voila - laksa paste already made up. And the flavor is divine. Just add a few things that are readily available at any grocery store, and you can experience Laksa Soup yourself!

I was hoping for a bolder flavor, but it wasn't very spicy. Wound up reading as a bit bland. Not a bad overall flavor though, just not what I was looking for.
