SeibertronFalcon Water Repellent Hiking Camping Backpack Compact Pack Summit Bag

High-Quality Backpack for Civilian Use
TL;DR, It's a very well-made clone of the Maxpedition Falcon II that costs significantly less with drawbacks that will likely never effect the lives of users in civilian use who are looking for a better deal on this type of backpack. (37L Variant)I was initially very cautious of ordering this bag, Seibertron was not a familiar name and doesn't offer many other products. I decided to pull the trigger on this bag for it's water-proof claims (I'll explain later in this review) and MOLLE webbing. I bought the 37L bag for roughly 50$ USD and am absolutely amazed with the quality compared to the much more expensive Maxpedition Falcon II which is priced at roughly 3x to 4x the price I payed for this Seibertron clone of Maxpedition's offering. Now let's get one thing out of the way immediately: I am a college student, and I use this bag for carrying my books, papers, and some computer equipment around campus, I also use the bag when I go hiking and biking. I don't carry a very heavy load so I can't speak for the ruggedness, but I've had no issues with wear, and every sewn seam is nearly perfect on my bag. Every strap is of equal length and sewn at the end (There is one exception, explained later) and there is plenty of slack for adjusting each strap for your load. The waist strap is not padded, but very accepting of wider waists, I am a waist size 38 (Mens) and the waist strap was comfortable at the default length. The D-rings on the shoulder straps are plastic, but of seemingly high quality. And, yes, the flag patch does come with the bag. There's only 2 complaints I have with this backpack, and neither are important enough for me to rate this bag less than 5/5, which are the MOLLE design is not perfect throughout the bag, especially around the Seibertron logo. The logo is sewn into the bag leaving no space between it and the actual back pocket, so you cannot run anything through the logo section, and the webbing is NOT sewn in exactly 1.5 inch spacings. For my particular bag this only applies to the MOLLE webbing on the back pocket, the webbing along the sides of the bag, and everywhere else, are proper MOLLE design. My other complain is very minor, the adjustable strap for the backpack shoulder straps are NOT sewn at the ends, and can completely remove themselves from the plastic tension lock, on first trying on the bag I accidentally loosened these straps to the point of removing them from the tension lock and the bag falling of my back. I re-threaded both straps through the tension locks and have tested to ensure I cannot loosen them without doing so intentionally. I cannot say for sure that these straps were put into the tension lock backwards initially, but there are very sturdy after setting them up myself. Another, very minor, complain is that there's a small zippered pocket in the main compartment of the bag that is completely flat and sits between the main compartment and the wearer's back. If you attempt to use this zippered pocket for anything it may prod into your back unless there is space in the main compartment for the bulge, in exchange it does make a good compartment to add some light padding for your upper back.Overall I am blown away with the quality and price of this backpack, It's extremely versatile with the MOLLE webbing, and my bag is absolutely water-proof. I was walking around a park with some gear in my backpack as a flash flood hit, I spent nearly 10 minutes trekking to my vehicle on higher ground as it poured down rain, I was absolutely soaked from head to toe when I made it to my vehicle, as was the backpack. I feared my laptop and other water-sensitive gear was potentially damaged but when I opened the bag the only water inside was a couple drops from my arm as I pulled the zipper open. Absolutely astounding. I cannot recommend a better backpack at this price for anyone interested in this type of bag,

Honest Unsolicited Review - Will happily accept some though lol
ProsVery light for how durable it isZippers are AWESOME (best feature)Water-resistantWell made for the price pointGreat overall design and it looks very niceConsLots of extra straps; but they are easily removedBladder-pack section is not like other packs, it is a seperate slot; may end up being a Pro, not sure yetUnfortunately I didnt receive any compensation offers for submitting a review, but the surprising quality inspired me to do so. I did a lot of research on backpacks prior to purchasing this one. I typically never buy anything labeled "tactical" because it usually adds cost without anything useful, and I am against people who buy "Tacti-cool" crap. That being said, I can honestly say I was surprised when I received the package. First impression wasn't positive, because the box was really light and I was expecting the backpack to be Chinese made crap. I instantly had buyers remorse before even opening the box. That was immediately reversed when I opened the box. The first thing I noticed was the black/white American flag patch that I wasn't expecting, a nice touch. The next thing that impressed me was the zippers... they are very sturdy, and all have cords attached. There are a lot of straps on the bag, but all of them can be removed if not wanted, also a big plus. The material itself seems sturdy for a $50 backpack, and there is plenty of space in the pockets for everyday use. The Molle is a bit tight, but my add-on bags fit with a little effort (purchased previously on with an old bag). The material seems to be water-resistant, but I wouldn't go dunking the bag in a pool and expect contents to stay dry. The bladder pack section is not how I normally see them, it's an individual slot between the user and the bag itself, but the padding is ample enough to be comfortable with a both being used and the design may end up working better than having to open the main compartment to access the bladder pack section. All things considered, I'm very happy with the purchase, and have recommended this to several friends already. I haven't found a comperable pack for less than $75-100, and that's after a lot of searching and physically holding many others. A friend of mine bought a similar pack from Amazon for around $30 and his has small zippers, and very cheaply made which is why I was hesitant to buy this one. If you have doubts, don't... It's just a good, well-made packpack that is sturdy enough to take lots of daily abuse. I don't see how it could be any better for $50.

Comfortable, Durable, Practical
I absolutely love my backpack! I've fully loaded this thing and put it through a lot in the short time I've had it and it still looks brand new. Wearing this backpack for upwards of 12-13 hours at a time I can honestly say that the shoulder straps are comfortable enough for the price point but a little extra padding wouldn't hurt. My favorite thing about this set is the two extra molle bags that attach not only on the sides but top and bottom as well if you're clever enough. I typically keep them empty inside the pack and fill them with dirty laundry as I go keeping the BO contained lol. But for longer trips with heavier packing requirements, it's really nice for the weight to be distributed to the sides instead of tacked onto the front of your pack, and still leaves room for a rolled-up blanket or sleeping bag at the bottom and top. They also make alright pillows when necessary. There are lots of pockets and zippers within the pack as well, keeping everything organized and protected. While I haven't used a bladder with this pack yet I suspect the pocket for it will require a period of breaking in before its totally comfortable as it's pretty tight and barely fits the two empty molle bags, but, with the new wide set design of bladders these days its still perfectly functional. All in all, I'm a happy bush girl :)

Dopo molte ricerche, FINALMENTE LO ZAINO
