My cool/cold weather commuter cyclist jacket
The product reviews on Amazon and Youtube had me ready to pull the trigger on this jacket and I'm glad I did.First ride with it was a cool rainy commute into work; a short trip about three miles in city traffic. I arrived completely dry. The sweat from some sprinting and fast cruising was wicked away very quickly without any problem. The softshell is windproof but not air tight to allow ventilation and avoid clamminess. Its very comfortable for extended wear. The ride home was in drier, colder conditions but with a moderately strong headwind. As a wind barrier this piece of gear is great. You can feel a small amount of air pass through near the armpit when hit with a full gust but this is a good thing when cycling as the body builds up heat. I didn't feel the need to open the "pit vents" since it is already well ventilated. The arms and torso were still very comfortably warm throughout the ride.Lastly this thing looks good. Though appearance is not among my list of necessities in a piece of utility gear this jacket is well designed. The lack of bulky insulation fabrics and thick layers makes it comfortable in more athletic cycling positions and it looks good. You can wear it in pretty much any environment without getting too many weird looks as if you showed up to work in full kit. This is a plus as it makes changing out of my cycling gear a short process. You can wear normal clothes under it without any fuss as it fits far more appropriately than most cycling specific outerwear, while still offering the same protection and functional performance of a more expensive cycling jacket. You can pretty much wear it for anything. I definitely suggest this item for year-round cyclists and commuters who want gear that lasts.

this is a great jacket at an excellent price
This jacket has exceeded my expectations in both comfort and value. This jacket is warm and stylish but it is pretty good on water resistance. I bought this because a friend has one and he could not stop telling me how great it was and it is the only jacket he really needs. I live in new york city where the weather changes frequently and precipitation can be frequent. This jacket is perfect for 3 of the 4 seasons, and if you order a size slightly larger you can add or reduce layers for optimal warmth and comfort for 99% of what the weather will throw at you. I have owned much more expensive jackets that have either a single weather purpose or are not as comfortable, brands ranging from columbia, koppen, TNF and their steep tech jackets, carhartt, etc. etc. but i must say this jacket might be the one replacing the rest. Winter is coming...... we will see how it holds up

Very awesome jacket. I works well worn under a vest
Very awesome jacket. I works well worn under a vest, or over one, and I really like the large side pockets. This jacket is very efficient, and unlike many tac jackets out now, is not over-littered with "tactical" pockets you'll never use. With my experiecne in bothe military and as a LEO, I have found it vital for using the pocket for the same thing on all of my gear. This helps my habitual memory funcation efficiently, and this jacket has just enough and not too many.It is wind and water resistant, but beware, that draft come in through the side vents. What do you expect? they work like a boss! The hood fold into the collar so beware that its real bulgy, so if you have any regulations that limit your collar to not being popped up or flared open this my not be your thing.I gave this a four star rating for these reasons:1.The main zipper...could have been better, way better, I feel like this thing is going to break and snap off everytime I zip it. Just feels cheap. An extra large YKK would have been the best choice.2. The absence of side zippers for duty gear. Condor, please keep in mind that this jacket isn't only limited to swat detectives. Your LEO grunts, the deputies and patrolmen, wear these two. So next time, please take into account the fact that given the direction this jacket goes, you went wrong for not putting side zips on here. Pretty simple and to the point. This jacket has no zips and could desperatley use some. All things aside, I would buy this again. I would continue bitching about these two discrepenseis, but I would reccomend it. Condor is on their way to the A-game in that this jacket is just as good as any 5.11 has out there and for a third of the price. If you want a sleek and professional looking jacket, give it a try. The sizes are are pretty right on for me.

A Remarkable Softshell Jacket That Exceeds Expectations
I recently purchased this softshell jacket, and I must say, it has far exceeded my expectations. One of the first things that caught my attention was the superior quality of the YKK zippers, reflecting the manufacturer's commitment to durability and craftsmanship. The jacket comes in a range of colors, each vibrant even in the most subdued shades. Its weight strikes a perfect balance, reminding you that you're wearing it without hindering your movements. I found the DWR coating to be highly effective, keeping me dry in consistent light rain and brief heavy showers. While it's not designed for extreme weather, it performs admirably in various conditions. What truly sets this jacket apart is its versatility. Whether I'm loading it up for tactical purposes or heading into town for the day, it adapts seamlessly to different situations. The practicality is evident, although I have a couple of minor gripes. The stored hood feels a bit bulky, but I've grown accustomed to it. Additionally, while the chest pockets are perfectly placed, I would have appreciated the inclusion of hip pockets for added convenience.Having owned jackets at different price points, I can confidently say that this softshell jacket outshines them all. Its attention to detail, functionality, and overall performance make it a fantastic investment. If you're seeking a reliable and versatile outdoor companion, this jacket is undoubtedly a top contender.
