They work!
Holds the trailer, they are thick chains and hang on to the hooks at the hitch. Last set of a different brand kept coming off, kinda had me worried a bit, not these. Very confident for a small to medium trailer. Good quality, affordable, looks better than the stuff that came with the trailer. You won't be on the internet with a trailer running away from you.

Quality exceeded expectation
I needed longer chains for my boat trailer as I added a hitch extender so my truck tailgate would open fully while the trailer was attached. This chain is much better quality and much more heavy duty than the original chain that was installed on my trailer and the length was perfect. The spring clips on the S hooks is a great feature as it ensures the hooks cannot accidently come out of the slots on the hitch.

Great value - plenty strong
I needed longer chains to reach the hitch rings on my truck. This was perfect. The chain is heavy duty, the hooks are just the right size, and the retaining clips work great. There are an even number of links in the chain though, so I had to put the mounting bolt through two links at the attach point to get an even length on both sides - no big deal, it just wasn't readily apparent upon initial installation. Excellent value compared to what you can find at WallaceMart.

I never tried to pull the boat with just the safety chains but I bet they would work fine

My old one was too short after replacing the new ball. This 51 inch chain fixed the bill by being the right length.

Highly recommend. Super easy to install. When used properly, they will keep your trailer tongue from nose diving at highway speed or hitting your vehicle if it’s high like my truck. Saved my ass today, only damage that happened when the tongue came off on the highway was the ground wire pulled out of its mount. Buy these and make sure you cross them
