Vinyl Enthusiasts Gem of a Record Store!
I wasn't going to write a review for the product I purchased, but had to give a review for the experience I received from Record Exchange of MD. When I retrieved this particular Amazon package from my front door I was in for an unexpected and certainly welcomed experience. In the white box which was well wrapped and packaged (labeled fragile with hand written instructions not to bend the box,) was an unexpected bonus. Not only did I receive 2014 Forrest Hills Drive in excellent condition, but I also received two other gems, Taana Gardner "Heartbeat" single and Poco "Rose of Cimarron" album (the guitar solos and riffs were dope.) I hadn't heard of either artist before but was pleased greatly with the addition. This is the first time, making a purchase on Amazon, that I felt this valued as a customer, and treated to such an amazing experience. I will definitely revisit future shopping experiences. recordexchangeofmd.com

Greatest Albumhe made to date
Friday Night Lights is his Magnum Opus career wise but this was one of the most polarizing projects that released that year. Wished I got to go to the tour.

I can't get off his D***
This man is a beast in every regard!Lyrics? ON POINT!Music Production? ON POINT!If you are already familiar with his past works, then you know that he delivers in all categories of an album. There is variety to each song, which are supported by his lyrics and the production. I mean his music is great to me. Obviously music reviews are more subjective than most reviews on amazon, so check his music out before you buy it! I'm not suggesting anyone to illegally download his music, but we live in an era where it is easy to listen to full albums (via Spotify, for example). J. Cole is an artist that is contributing to his genre in a positive way and it shows in this album. Buying albums is so rare these days, but buying his album shows his record label that people like his music even if there is no mainstream hit. Grant J. Cole artistic freedom!!!! OH MY.. I need to stop. I'm about to go off on a tangent. Sorry for the scrambled thoughts review. Cole World!"An album 10 dollars. You act like its 10 Gs. This food for thought cost the same as two number 3s."And his album art is nice and simple. Can't hate on that

Album Of The Year
I swear if Iggy or Eminem win a Grammy for album of the year, I'm giving up hip hop. This is Coles best album, if you liked Friday Night Lights then you'll love this.Production-Willie B is on the team (He's made beats for Kendrick Lamar, An Soul and other TDE members) Cole is handling most of it as well.Lyrics- I can't listen to this album on shuffle, The whole thing is like a huge story.Favorite Songs-Wet DreamzJanuary 28Love YourzApparently(I loved all the song but these are like the best)Overall this is an album that deserves better critic ratings. J Cole, Big K.R.I.T and Ab Soul are the only ones to release a Good Rap Album this year. I thought hip hop was dying but after those 3 albums...nah.SUPPORT YOUR ARTIST S*** IS ONLY $10 DONT ACT LIKE ITS 10000 WE ALL TRYNA GET OUR OWN. S***S LIKE 2 NUMBER 2'S.

Solid album. Worth a listen ALL THE WAY THROUGH....
I am a J. Cole fan. Have been since the Warm-up. With that being said this is a solid album through and through. If you enjoyed any of his album minus Sideline story (sorry that was his weakest effort to me) and his mixtapes, you wouldn't want to miss this album. I was surprised to see a new release from him, pleasantly surprised I must say. I really enjoyed the listen. Love his transparency, that what makes me a fan. That really shines on this album. There are a couple songs I couldn't get into such as....G.O.M.D and Hello. I understand their message, just didn't sink in with me. I skip those now. Other than those songs, I can play it front to back. The reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating was because I don't deem this a classic record. The warm-up is classic to me. I would have gave it 4.5 stars but you can't unfortunately. For the Cole fans, GET IT! Support your man because other than Kendrick Lamar there really isn't any mainstream artist with anything worth listening to nowadays. I've lost hope for this "New hip-hop" but because of J Cole and Kendrick I still have a blimp of hope for its future. If you're not a fan, shame on you. You missing out on the REAL!
