Does what it’s supposed to
One of the best inexpensive upgrades you can add to your pistol. Install is straightforward and simple as long as you take your time. I recommend test fitting a few times prior to applying. This helps give you an idea where it lines up with the grip and features. The cutouts for the grip logo aligned perfectly, so I used that as a guide. I did have to trim off about 1mm on the bottom of the left side since it had an overhang while test fitting. Came out better than I expected. It definitely improved my grip, even with a sweaty hand. I definitely recommend these.

... XD I've been reading about Talon grips and how great they are
Ever since getting my XD I've been reading about Talon grips and how great they are. One of the few complaints people have about the XD Service model is that there isn't much in the way of a grip. I can understand the complaint; the smooth plastic doesn't seem like it would lend itself to sweaty palms. Of course the mod 2 has the improved grip, but it's not available to me in California.I'd never had a real issue with the grip myself, even after a full day of shooting in the sun. But many people recommended the Talon grips, and they're pretty cheap, so I decided to give them a try.I watched several installation videos on Youtube, and I noticed that there were two camps when it came to how the grips overlapped. Some folks liked to trim the excess for a cleaner look, while others just wrapped it over. What was more confusing is that some people said their instructions told them to trim the excess, but some said their instructions told them NOT to.When I received my grips I did a dry fit, and sure enough there was a slight bit of overlap. The instructions that came with it said not to trim the excess, and I don't really trust myself to make a clean, straight cut on the first try, so I decided to do as they said. Installation, including heating with the hair dryer, took about 10 minutes total. It's a simple process; remove the paper backing from the grips, fit them to the pistol. The XD Service has logos on either side, and the Talon grips have cutouts to match them, so it's pretty easy to line them up for a nice, straight fit. You start with the left side and wrap them around. When you get all the way around, you lift up the left side and "tuck" the excess under it. Once you're happy with the fit, you heat the grips to about the temperature of a warm cup of coffee, then press the grips into gun. You repeat this process a couple more times, ensuring the grips are pressed into every nook and cranny. What I found is that after heating the grips and pressing them into the pistol, the overlap squishes together and isn't noticeable at all. The grips look terrific and blend right in with the pistol. More importantly, they FEEL good.I can 100% recommend these grips. They're a fast, inexpensive way to upgrade your XD. They offer a huge improvement over the bare plastic.

Nice Grip
For what it is 20$ is a little much, just my opinion. The product itself is very nice, seems very durable and gives my XD a great new feel along with it is easy to install. Even at 20$ I would buy it again without hesitation.

Best $20 upgrade I've ever made to a gun
Been looking to upgrade the grip on my XD for years. Anyone who has ever shot a polymer handgun with any type of liquid on your hand knows that the grip is severely compromised. Especially if you have tiny girl hands like I do. I decided to try the rubber grip first since I heard that the granular (which is basically skateboard grip tape) can be rough on your hands/gloves after sustained firing as well as your skin and clothes when carrying concealed. The installation is fast and easy and can be done with things everyone has at home. Rubbing alcohol, scissors and a hair dryer. It comes with instructions and there is a video on their website that walks you through it step by step. Have taken it to the range many times since and have not had an issue with my grip since. So slippage, no need to milk it after a few shots. Makes an important fundamental basically take care of itself with little effort on my part. When choosing between rubber and granular texture, if you're going to carry concealed, definitely go with rubber. If not, either is fine but granular makes your grip even more sure.

Great, simple upgrade.
Sweaty range days, one handed firing, overall grip comfort are all improved by this product. Putting them on is a breeze. I use them on both my personal and duty weapons. For the price, it’s a great little upgrade to have.

Great value grips
Just installed these to my xd. Fairly easy to install you just have to take your time and get that alignment perfect. I do not shoot with gloves with this weapon so the rubber grips have really helped with sweat. If you primarily use gloves don't get the rubber you'll need the other. I have only been able to put a few hundred rounds on them so I can't speak on durability yet. My friends have had theirs on for a year or so with no issue, but at the price thats a great deal and all you can ask for. I'll update once I've put it through more.

Fits well
I have an HS-2000 model and this grip fits well to it (uploaded photos so you could see). It's very easy to apply, though I'm not sure if it still can be removed and reposition. I wouldn't want to try it because it might not stick anymore.I hope this review answers the question of HS-2000 owners.
