Great product, but small parts are packed loosely
Its a great product, works well, and was really easy to install. Unfortunately they pack all the small bits (screws, washers, etc) loose in the back with the PCB and battery. So in trying to get the big bits out, the small bits went tumbling everywhere and I had to crawl around trying to find them. These should be in their own separate p.ackage

Been waiting for this product to be invented!!
In my opinion, the only great add-on for the pi zero is a well-designed battery so it can be made portable. This pi-sugar solves that problem and does it very well.Instructions are provided, but really not needed. It's so well designed that its use is obvious once you open the package. If this company produces a mod, or a new product with the ability to sense the battery status in the PI, It will be perfection.

Blew my mind
I cant belive i can power a pi zero with this, no cables needed. just put the back of the Zero onto the back of the battery pack, it powers on. Like a phone on a wireless charger.. crazy. I didnt use it yet, but I plan on builing a RetroPi Retro Arcade hand held.. I hope anyway.

Excellent companion for the Raspberry Pi Zero!
This battery is really easy to use and the magnet holding the battery cell to the board is a nice touch. Will definitely buy another for my next project.

Powers the pi on automatically when power applied :(
I really wish this would charge without powering up the pi. It's not good to force power off on the pi, and every time I plug this in to charge it automatically turns the pi on and I have to power it back off manually.

Mine might have been bad but give it a try still a good product.
I really hate to give the 3/5 stars but I had some big issues at first. The quality of pisugar is exactly, the soldering on my board was bad. The positive and negative wire soldering only was bad, the grounding of the negative black wire was bad the wire frayed out and some of the frayed wire was touching the positive terminal causing circuit issues at first i thought it messed up when I saw the Sparks and the button didn't work and it didn't work for a while, after a while the button worked and everything so far is okay. I moved the frayed wires away hoping to help it not happen again but it can still arch and close the circut. I might have to exchange it for a new one soon but I am in need of it for my project. I was really disappointed on this because I had high hope and I feel pisugar is still awesome to have even though it cost more then the normal battery. I hope they see this and double check quality control more better.

Great condition, good price for limited space project
Great battery. Wish the leads faced the other direction or were slightly longer. It's was a plug and play install. Worth the money if space is an issue. If space is not an issue, go with a direct solder utilizing a portable phone charger instead.

Awesome!
1200mAh is a little weird being so "fat" but otherwise this board and battery are fantastic for pi0With my Pi0, Waveshare 1.3" hat running Kali/Airodump, I was able to get 5h21m uptime on a full charge. Took 2h on a 5v 500mA USB (2.0) port to fully charge from my PC. Fantastic battery, 10/10 buying more
