Delta CreativeProtect Exterior/Interior Varnish (8 Ounce), 70028 Gloss

Used to get this at Walmart and Michaels - then I was only able to find it at Michaels - now I'm only able to find it online???? What craziness!!! And the price is too high. Should be less then $10. But it works great for items indoors and outside and super easy to use!

My husband has used the Delta Creative Protect Exterior/Interior Varnish (Gloss) for years as a top coat for his acyrlic paintings.He did not have to apply two coats and it covered his painting well and really made the colors on his canvas pop. My only concern with him using it is that I'm sensitive to chemical smells and this product definitely has a strong odor. I would not suggest using it indoors. I like that this varnsh is made in the USA, however, I'm not sure if it contains non-toxic ingredients. It's very important to my family and I to limit our exposure to toxic chemicals. This product worked as described and looks like it is depicted in the picture, but it would have been nice to know the exact ingredients before purchasing. I only bought this product because my husband is familiar with this brand and needed it to finish his painting. Typically, I would not purchase a product without seeing the list of ingredients. I'd like to suggest to the seller to add a picture of the back of the bottle. Thank you.

Varnish was too thick. It was hard to use as it seemed to dry as I was applying it. Did not self-level, therefore, appearance was not smooth. Thichkness interfered with transparency. I ended up washing it off before it dried but even that was difficult.

I am using this product to put a finish on miniatures made out of wood. It adds the high gloss finish I was looking for.

I bought this product in March. I was running low on my old one from 90's or early 2000's. When I first use it was thick. My old one was thin varnish....I started to use the new one on my charms. It was making my charms cloudy and peeling like. I felted upset about they change the formula and I wasted my money. However I did an experiment! I use my old Creamcoat Sealer and mix the varnish together...I GOT A GREAT ARNISH AND SAVED MONEY! :)

In the 90s and early 2000s, I painted a LOT using different brands of acrylic paint then protected my painting using Ceramcoat varnish. I painted a LOT. I varnished a LOT. I loved Ceramcoat. I never, ever had a problem with Ceramcoat varnish back then. What has happened to this product. I just painted a large canvas, let it dry for several hours and just now varnished and the paint is MOVING AROUND. Ughh!!!

Je l'utilise pour mes décorations extérieurs du jardin, décorations la plupart en résine. Je les rentre à l'intérieur en hiver, mais j'ai hâte de voir si ce vernis va résister à la pluie et au soleil lors des chaudes journées d'été.
