Weekender by ParkPower MARINCO 50ARVIB RV Power Inlet, 50A, Black

I am doing my project to hook up portable generator to the house through interlock at the main panel. One of the requirements is to have outdoor 50 amp female inlet for the plug coming from generator. I wanted to have UL listed inlet. Initially I was going to buy a separate inclosure with such inlet, but I realized they are expensive (150$+) and good luck finding them if you dont want to buy a non UL Chinese piece of garbage. This inlet saved me headache and time and money. I was able to install it on existing enclosure that used to be installed for outdoor spa by previous owner. This inlet is build like a tank, it fits 6 awg wire (that is minimum for 50 amp). It is compact, as internal size was one if my concerns. It is UL listed for marine applications and it has good waterproof cap that is easy to open and close. All in all - great product for a good price.

Great Quality, Nice Thick Rubber Gasket. Much better than competitors. Mounted on enclosed aluminum trailer. Worked great.

Cracked in two corners which lead to leaking. Not very durable. Bought a cheaper version (about half the price) which is much better quality.
