Great workout/running shorts
My husband loves these shorts. They are comfortable and he can run with his phone in the pocket without it jiggling all over the place

Really nice
I’m 6ft 230lb and 39 waist. I got the biggest one they had. And was kinda small. My hope is if I wear them long enough I’ll stretch to my size cause they almost fit. If they ever made a size or 2 bigger I would come back and buy them in the bigger size.

Follow the Size Chart
I got the White Camo shorts and it looks good on you, at first glance I thought it was too big but once I put it on it was fine.I bought the Large size following the size chart that was a bit confusing. I am a size 32, 33 comfortably and the large size is more like a 34, so the size I got was a little loose on the top but I tie it and it was fine after that, the inner liner stayed close to my legs but not too tight. If I had gotten the medium size it would had been more like a size 30 to 32 and might had been a little tight.I went out hiking already and the shorts were comfortable and didn't ride up at all.If you have a small phone and you want to use the pocket inside the liner the phone will bounce a little but it won't fall out but you can always use the zipper pocket if you are worried about that happening. The side zipper pockets are a little smaller than usual, I don't have big hands and I had trouble getting my hand in and out with ease.

Key Sizing Issues
Pros• The fabric and sheen are wonderful. Great feel and texture.• Extremely breathable—95° today, and I felt like an air conditioner was following me around.• Just in case you weren't sure, you do not wear any undergarments under this type of 2-in-1 liner.• None of the "bunching" or "roominess" issues you might expect with a spandex-type mesh liner. Everything moved freely.* Liner pocket for the phone is well-made, and my iPhone screen stays off and doesn't get triggered by my skin when moving in the pocket.Cons• I cannot even fit my hands into the pockets—far too small.• For an XL size, it was very small. I'm 6" and 185 (ish). The length was fine, but if you are not standing perfectly straight, it rides up (say you're sitting) and you can see 3-5" of the liner. Standing straight, you only see 0.5-1" of the liner, mostly through the slit on the sides.• Pockets are sewn to the pants only at the top part (waistline). If you have anything at all in your pockets, it will swing wildly.Verdict: I am returning the pants. They are amazing, but they need these changes for me to come back:• Extend the bottom of the pants by 3" exactly. This is about how much is needed to cover the liner in any other pose than standing straight up.• Make the pocket slits 1.5-2" longer, going down.• Stitch the pockets of the pants (not the liner) to the rest of the pants all around. When I am moving with just my keys in the pocket, it feels like a wrecking ball dangling back and forth at the bottom of the pocket, since it's only sewn to the pants at the waistline (top).

Genuine ASRV vs mecheng review
I’m assuming that a lot of people buying these shorts are doing so in hopes of finding a cheaper alternative to the $95 Asrv versions of these. I know I was. I loved the real asrv’s but they are far too expensive and anyone who prices shorts that high deserves some competition. The real asrv’s are on the left and this brand is on the right in this photo. From what I can tell, everything from the drawstring, to the mesh fabric to the actual lining and zip pocket and zip pocket material is the EXACT same. The design & material looks almost identical. As people have pointed out the phone holder is a bit too forward on the lining for this brand but that didn’t bother me.The only two differences I have found are that mecheng shorts are a bit longer. I’d say they go almost 1-1/2 to 2 inches longer than OG asrv’s. Some people might actually prefer this look but I prefer the slightly shorter asrv’s. The other difference is there is no Asrv branding which is fine. In terms of those two things it’s literally the exact same item. You can buy 5 of these for 1 pair of Asrv. I plan on just getting them hemmed an inch and I’m still ahead 70 dollars per short. Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if these were both made in the same factory. I will def be purchasing again & im thankful someone is competing from a price stand point.

Comfortable, Relatively High-Quality, If a Little Loose Around the Waist
I bought these shorts in need of a new go to pair of athletic shorts for the gym. They work well for that purpose, with the shorts and the mesh underneath the short both made of decently high quality material. With a multitude of pockets including an extra useful phone pocket in the underwear mesh underneath the shorts, they are perfect for going to the gym. I'm 6'2'' with a 32'' waist, and a large works well for me. My only complaint would be that the elastic around the waist is a little loose, but not significantly so. Just enough to be noticeable, but not enough to detract from its performance in any way. Overall, with a $17 price tag, these shorts are a solid buy for those in need of new dedicated workout short.

Very comfortable but not lightweight
It is not a lightweight short, but very comfortable.

good fit, holding up well, one disappointment tho...
I bought four of these a year ago in various colors. I wear them a lot and they are all holding up really well. They still look like new. The weight of the fabric (inner compression liner and outside short) is a little heavier than I'd prefer but only a minor issue. Two suggestions for the manufacturer...1. include a little extra stitching to hold the pocket lining in place. It wants to bunch up and make an unflattering bulge on the outside of the hips.2. make me look like the product model when i'm wearing them.

Buy for comfort, not for athletic functionality.
Shorts are very comfortable, and good for general every day. Bought them for running though. The phone holder does not hold the phone securely, nor does it have a wire hole for earphone access. Phone swings around a lot when in the under pocket or side pockets. Fabris does feel a bit on the cheap side.

Not the best overall
The material underneath the actual shorts is way too long and not tight enough, waist fits fine but shorts are not the best. You can find better for price

good concept, not great for running
I was stoked about the inner pocket for my iphone while running.. only the liner doesn't have the fortitude to hold the phone snug enough so it kinda flops around and pulls your shorts down.Might work better for weight lifting routine at gym but would still fall out of a seated leg press machine.6'1" medium build and ordered the 2XL.Overall, its an ok pair of overseas assembly line shorts (for the price) so although not as good as I had hoped, its not a total fail either. I don't expect these will hold up for more than a couple months of moderate use.

These shorts are just OKAY
The shorts are just fine in my opinion. I needed to order a 3XL in order to get the correct 34" waist and length that would get closest to my knees. I've worn them once for a workout and they seemed to ride down. Not in a loose way like they didn't fit but in a pulling down way like the inner linings were pulling too tight or something. It felt kind of strange in that sense. I probably wouldn't buy this specific pair of shorts again. The shipping of these shorts was incredibly fast though and I was very impressed with that.

A little shorter than expected.
These shorts are a fake of a popular exercise brand. They are still pretty well made, and are good for running. The materials feel a little cheap, and if anything I feel like I overpaid for them. I will probably keep using them until they wear out. A little shorter on the leg than I had thought as well.
