SEA PETOmega Plus Fish Oil with Natural Vitamin E (16 oz)

Great value. I like that it has vitamin E included to balance out the omega oil.

Our vet recommended this to be given to our dogs to help their body absorb Benadryl better. It’s liquid so we mix it with their food. It leaves a fishy smell to their breath.

If I didn't see with my own eyes what this product has done for my four-year-old Shepherd mix, I would not have believed it. My dog has joint issues and was becoming progressively more crippled at an alarming rate. Vet prescribed Rimadyl but I was concerned about her kidneys and also she had diarrhea when on Rimadyl. A holistic-oriented vet recommended I give her this product as well as glucosamine. I decided to start with just one product to see what effect it had, so I started with this fish oil. It may sound hard to believe but within 2 months my dog seems completely healed and can now go with me to the beach where we live and run for an hour and a half or more and does not limp at all when she is done. Before she would be limping after just being on the beach for a few minutes. I want to thank the company that made this stuff. It literally gave my dog her life back. I do wonder about mercury levels in these fish oils and I will probably ask the manufacturer about this but if I had to choose between some Mercury oil and my dog acting like a one-year-old puppy at the age of 5 after becoming progressively disabled the past 2 years I'll choose the latter.

Update 2/11/13: Turns out that I was mistaken. The oils and labels received from this seller are indeed identical to what was shipped from SeaPet.com. I guess everyone needs to cut costs and hence the cheaper looking labels... I have now changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars, as it is the exact same product and NOT counterfit as I was suspecting before - just for a lot better price than ordering from SeaPet.com directly.Original review: This might be one of those "you get what you pay for" cases. I have ordered this product in the past from Sea Pet directly, and the moment I received my order from this seller, the word "counterfit" popped in mind. The label looks quite different (cheap looking and peeling - like printed with color laser printer on copy paper vs. shiny professional grade label), the oil smells different (kind of "old petroleum-y" odor vs. fresh and pleasant fish smell) and also looks different (muddy vs. clear).I am going to order 1 bottle from this seller and 1 from Sea Pet right now to have a fresh batch to compare. If I'm wrong and they look identical, I will revise my review accordingly. If my suspicion persists, I will update here and report fraud.

I love this product for my pups. but when i bought it from here on amazon it did not do the same job as buying it from the actually CO site. And that is what is starting to be sad about amazon. all these pp are allowed to sell as vendors on here and you have no idea if they switched out the product, or just collected empty bottles and put something else in it.That is why i gave it a 3 star on here. but been using this for 5 years and it's amazing how soft the fur will get for dogs, energy and plus it's safe. so buy somewhere else and it's totally worth it.

What a huge difference this has made in my dog's health and coat She also loves the taste. She is almost 15 yrs old now and still going strong, in part due to this supplement,

My groomer warned me that my PDW's coat was dry and was there might be a thyroid problem. Vet visit and lab test said no. So I add this fish oil to diet. His coat is better but who knows what was impactful. I will keep on using cause I love my dog and the cost is so modest.

I purchased this when the only Vitamin E oil I could find was at my local pharmacy, was pretty darn expensive for the size of the bottle, and made a huge mess when I added it to my pet's food.I use it in my 2 cat's wet food (one has a horrible shedding problem), my 2 parrot's birdie mash, and in my older Chihuahua's wet food (she had a brittle coat). ALL of their skin, fur, and feathers have greatly improved. It DOES have a slightly fishy odor, but nothing compared to other fish oil products!The spout also is less messy than other Vitamin E or fish oil dispensers. I love this and will continue to purchase it!
