Aji Amarillo Chile Rojo Heirloom Pepper Premium Seeds for Planting Packet + More

So far so good. Last year I bought aji amarillo pepper seeds and they turned out to be some sort of random long red peppers that were absolutely the wrong thing. Hopefully that’s not the case this year. If it is, I’ll come back and tank this review, but I’m assuming they’re awesome so yay five stars.

Not one of the 10 seeds sprouted, I am very disappointed.

First time seed planter over here. I didn’t have much faith in my ability to successfully sprout these seeds but...two weeks after planting I have 11 sprouts out of twelve seeds! Very happy. They look strong and have doubled in size overnight. Excited to continue to watch these grow.

not many germinated

Plants are much bigger than other peppers. At least twice as big. Peppers were nice and hot with good flavor.

Purchase based on Amazon choice. Mistake! I didn't think to look for seed count. One review says only 30 seeds germinated, so I assumed I would get more than that. You are paying 64 cents per seed; my packet had 10! If they don't germinate, what a waste. I will hold Sherwood seeds accountable for their 100% guarantee.Update: I contacted seller for months and there is absolutely no response. I was meticulous about growing these seeds. Most germinated, most died along the way, the few left didn't make it either. They took extremely long to grow and were very scrawny. ALL died. I just wanted to try again and asked seller to replace. Best practice: answer your buyers. I am being generous by giving one star. Buyer BEWARE!
