It meets all expectations and looks handsome as well. Quality and well made.

These are so good for pen and ink work - the paper is very smooth, and thick enough that ink won't bleed through at all. The concertina design means you can pretty much just draw and draw and let your imagination go wild, and the display when you open it out is fabulous! Takes a light watercolour wash, though will buckle if you use too much. The case the sketchbook comes in is very swish - all in all, I love these :)

It will be for sketching. I haven't used it yet, but the cartridge paper is good quality. I'm not sure what is meant by sheerness in the star review above. I like Seawhite products and it arrived really quickly!
