IOK for refils
Fumed silica has such a very low density that two ounces would not fit into a container ten times this size. This container has a screw lid and as such it is not suitable for drying flies in the open air. However it is exactly the same product as the branded fly driers on the market. You actually get about three to four times more silica buying it this way than at the tackle shop. It does however make an economic refill for the named products on the market, just keep your old container or use a plastic 35mm film cassette case.
