Excellent to be able to find this book so easily, have been searching in book stores for some time. A valuable source of information for the enthusiast camera collector. Excellent and prompt service from Amazon.

I like previous editions more. The price guide with letters instead of price ranges was very inconvenient to use. I recommend to buy McKeown's price guide to cameras instead. It's much better book.

A good source of basic information, but somewhat dated. However, considering the lack of available books on camera values it is somewhat adeqate. I would use it in conjunction with the internet to determine todays pricing.

Not so cmprehensive as I thought but easy to read and the writer is very initiated in the field. Serves well as a introduction to old camera collection

Use in conjuction with McKoewn's, most things can be identified.Somewhat disapointed with the number of incomplete descriptions.

Realmente practico a la hora de identificar camaras para un coleccionista ademas vienen con una breve descripcion se recomienda encarecidamente

L'unico vero manuale del collezionista di apparecchi fotografici, senza dubbi: Pur essendo basato essenzialmente sul mercato collezionistico inglese , copre non solo le informazioni essenziali dei vari apparecchi da collezione ma anche trend dei mercati, guide su dove/come far riparare le <collectable cameras>, notizie su come datare gli stessi, ecc. L'indicazione dei codici di rarità e delle "forchette" relative ai prezzi sono strumenti impagabili! Veramente esaustivo, e per la maggioranza dei modelli esiste una bella foto, chiara e rappresentativa !

Great book to have as reference of collectable cameras. Orientation of prices is also included, accurate explanations about the different models but the pictures are not good, they are in black and white. I recommed this book highly.
