First time making inarizushi
I’ve always loved inarizushi and used to buy it at the store for a treat. This is the first time I tried making it at home and it was very easy. I cooked the rice, spread it loosely in a big bowl, sprinkled some sushinoko (sushi seasoning), added toasted sesame seeds and stuffed the pouches. It was delicious! I also used the extra seasoned rice with furikake and that was yummy as well; next time I will try it with some diced takuan (pickled turnip) for some crunch. The bean curd pouches are easy to pull out of the can, about 16 bags per can and fills apx 1/3 to 1/2 cup of rice each. Don’t forget to pour some of the sauce into the rice. I am so happy that I can now make my own inarizushi ❤️

Exactly what I wanted
I've always enjoyed the inari I've bought premade at certain stores, but only recently thought to find out if I could make them at home. After searching online, I decided to bite the bullet and try ordering this product, figuring worst case scenario I was only out a few dollars. They turned out to be -perfect- for my needs. The can had 16 pockets inside; they were all consistently sized and intact. They do take a little patience to open up without tearing, but I expected that part, and managed to get through it without tearing more than one. The flavor was spot-on for the ones I'm used to getting from the stores, they were easy to fill once opened, and the extras refrigerated well until I was ready to use them. I will definitely be ordering these again!

I prefer this Shirakiku brand
I make a lot of Inari. I tried both this brand and the Hime brand at the same time. Both cans have 16 pieces. This Shirakiku brand are thicker wraps and are easier to open. Shirakiku brand wraps are tightly packed in can with minimal liquid. I found that the thinner Hime brand wraps tended to rip when trying to ease them open very carefully. Even though both cans are 10 oz. the Hime brand contains more liquid which accounts for the equal weight. The taste of both brands are the same. I don't prepare all 16 Inari for the same meal but to make prep easier for the next time I remove all the wraps from the can, open them all and then put them in to a plastic container with tight fitting top.

Great texture/taste!
I have ADHD/Autism, so texture and taste are a big thing for me. If you enjoy more spongy, shreddy textures like me, you'll like these things straight out of the can! I will say, the sauce it comes in can be a little salty and intense, but if you pat them off with a paper towel and fill them up with plain white rice? Absolutely delicious and fairly easy to eat! I will say it is kind of delicate, so I would recommend having a nice, sharp knife to help you with splitting the pockets open and refrigerate them first to help them stiffen up, but overall, these little pockets have been a vegan safe food for a while. Buy it in your local Asian market if you can!

Great product for party
Flavor is a little on sweeter side for me. I used the product for party. Easy to make Inarizushi. Good small size for party. Nice addition to people who don't want to eat raw fish sushi.

Too fragile
The Taste is great but they're so thin. You really have to be careful when filling them with rice they tear so easily. Luckily you get alot of skins in the can so you can keep trying. I'm going to look for a different brand. For now I can use the rest in a couple of other ways. Sliced atop my japanese salad along with some kamaboko pieces. I'll also slice the skins and put them atop my udon, somen or ramen as well.

Closest you can get to fresh that you can keep on the shelf.
If you like inari but have no access to either fresh or a Japanese supermarket, these are a good bet. They are a little expensive but will do in a pinch.

Strange Chemical Taste
I usually love inari, but the product in this can had a strange aftertaste like acetone. It wasn't overpowering to the point where I couldn't eat it (but I probably shouldn't have, honestly). I paid $30 for the can, and it had 16 inari tofu pockets in it, and I think this product was overpriced.
