LO-2100 Wax-Liquid Natural Wax, Glass 14oz

As a licensed esthetician, this is my favorite wax because of its spreadability and comfort to the skin. I've gone through several jars, and although it costs more than the others, it is worth the difference. Pleasing fragrance as well.

I have used L'Orbette Liquid Wax for over 30 + years. Highly recommended. Watched the pros and decided I could do this (waxing) myself. So, I invested in a heating block and "set up shop."

This was just ok, but I like the wax my hairdresser uses better. Will need to find out what that is.

Order this product if you want to receive a different one. The description here says: NO STRIPS NEEDED and MICROWAVEABLE. Forget about it. you will get a wax that does need both strips and warmer.Actually the wax that arrived here doesn't even is the one in the picture you see. I attached a pic of the wax i got by trying to buy the one advertised.Lock & Maine, however, tried to repair the mistake. They were kind and promptly got back to me and refunded my payment. This for sure made things a little bit better, despite of all the inconveniente.

This is the only wax I'll ever use on my face, arms and armpits. It saves me hundreds of dollars each year to do my waxing at home, myself.

There are not many microwaveable waxes on amazon. The ones that are available normally come in 8oz or less containers--and that's not what I wanted. I was looking to wax my "winter legs" and I knew 8oz wouldn't do it. So then I found the LOrbette wax. I bought it before reading the reviews because of the size/price ratio alone ( ie getting more product for less $$$)---i freaked out a bit, a lot of people where complaining about it not being microwaveable....I recieved the product two days later (thanks to amazon prime). It came in a glass container. The cap is a bit hard to open at first, I had to ask my husband to open it for me. But once it was open, I placed the container in the microwave on high for 30 seconds. The consistancy of the wax was perfect. Not to thin or thick---for the heck of it i placed it again into the microwave for another 30 seconds (1 full minute total) and it got too thin...and hot.Anyway. The wax itself is super sticky, and stringy ---perfect for waxing legs. I tried to wax my arms, it worked, but I ended up getting myself bruised (from pulling the hairs the wrong way, or puling too much). Word to the wise, wear gloves when using this product...the wax tends to get everywhere.Minus One star because it's in a glass jar....wish they can change that.*I rely on amazon for reviews of nearly everything before I buy. My wife loves this stuff. She is tougher than I am. She says it works better than most ofthe other options out there.
