Crescent GardenRim TruDrop Planter, Self-Watering Plant Pot, 18-Inch (Midnight)

I loved it so much I ordered a 2nd one. Perfect size and color for my front porch. I will note that one didn’t work properly (I didn’t realize this until I had filled it with plants). I reached out to customer service and they emailed me right back with a trick to fix it without having to replant. Now both areWorking great and my plants look better than ever. I wish they offered the same style in a smaller container, I would replace all planters with these.

Initially I had issues getting the water gauge to indicate that any water was in the planter. This was very frustrating given that the whole reason I'd purchased this self-watering planter in the first place was because it would indicate when I needed to refill it. That's when I decided to contact the company directly. I heard back from them the very next day, and upon asking me several questions and instructing me to try out different things, my planter is now working properly. It turns out that the parts that make up the water gauge became loose when the planter shipped, but I was able to remove the unit, secure all of the parts, and place it back in the planter. I'm giving this planter 5 ★'s because with the excellent customer service of Crescent Garden, it is now working exactly as it should.

Great service and very nice planter

While this planter is quite expensive for a plastic pot, whatever you plant in it will be very happy--cacti excluded. I bought this for a covered front porch where I wouldn't be around to water it often. Since it's in shade, this pot can go about a month or more without a refill.

First time using sub irrigation. Directions included showed items not in package. When I enquired to vendor, they said the size I ordered did not come with those items. Then there should have been directions for MY ITEM. Does not inspire confidence in function and use. Bought two, returned one. Was afraid to gamble on such an expensive item. Will let you know if the one I kept works.

Although, I kept this Crescent Self-Watering planter, but the material and quality of this one are not high quality compared to the one I bought from Lowe's. The price is cheaper but the quality is different.

I wasn't sure how well this would work in our very hot and dry southwest summer but wow. I love this. I only had to fill the reservoir once every 10 or 12 days until the monsoon season arrived and I haven't needed to fill it's all since. The hibiscus is alive and well. I only wish I could afford a few more of these planters in a larger size to put around our pool area. Did I mention I love this?

Size & color are great. Lightweight. Water gauge could be better design
