My wife and I have USB fans by our bedsides but given the warm summer so far I decided to try an air cooling option. Air conditioning is still way out of my price range so an air cooling unit seemed an affordable compromise.I like the unit. I like how it's put together, its relative size and the option of different fan speeds. On a bedside or on a desktop, to the user, it certainly does cool the air and make things more bearable. To re-iterate some other reviews, this will NOT cool a room, this will blow water cooled air whatever is in front of it. If that happens to be you then you will feel cooler!My dislikes - I don't understand the purification option (and I doubt this actually does anything), I don't understand the need for so many LED light combinations and I also don't like the diffuser breaking after 48 hours. My biggest dislike is the size of the water tank. Even on a low setting, a single tank of water won't see you through the night. You'll wake up (as I have) with warm air blowing in your face. You then have to either try and top up the tank in the dark or disturb everyone by putting a light on. You also have to take a bottle or extra large glass of water with you to bed.Would I buy another one? Ultimately, it does what you purchase it to do and given the price element far outweighing the quality I would certainly consider another unit if the need presented itself. I would, however, shop around for a cheaper option of what is essentially the same unit under a different brand name.

Don’t waste your money, your better off getting one of those hand held fans you get at your local market with AAA battery! I have a desktop fan which 5 times more cooling than this Chinese’s cheap import ! Disgusted £40 wasted !!

This product was really good as it was good, my son at night would suddenly always overheat so when I switch this on he would be fine. I think this is a great product.

Using this to keep my dogs cool in the car. I don't have to worry about leaving them in a hot car as this cools the air really well. Have left on battery power for over and hour and was still cooling when I got back. Not the sturdiest construction but good at the price. One con is if full of water you must keep it upright as I discovered when trying to plug it in for the first time, not a problem but need to be aware!

I bought this as I felt a fan just pushed hot around in my room and I had a gift voucher. Wish I got it sooner! I switched it on when coming back from work and by the time dinner is cooked my rooms chilled. Few things to note: it can't be moved or tipped when it's full of water other wise the tray which the water goes into before it gets sucked up the material( not the storage tank) will over fill and leak out the bottom. I thought it was faulty but it's just how it's designed which is fine once it was on the side and I wasn't faffing around. It's small but super effective the air flows a long way. I do have to fill it every hour or so on top setting but that a good for me becuase it means the water will be cool and it will work better. The lights don't fully switch off, but then it's a little loud fr me to sleep with but my boyfriend can sleep with it on. Overall I would deffo recommend this over a fan or huge unit that takes space up and now a few people I work with have one too!

I ordered this during some hot days in July. When the item had arrived it had cooled down again, fair enough, I could have anticipated this. The last two days it was hot again, so I was excited to use the product. I am very disappointed!1.) it does not cool, it is just a fan in a box, the filter - even if soaked as suggested- does not really help this.2.) I do not know what the water tank is for. It was still full after running 4hrs on full speed3.) the Noise level is like a vacuum cleaner or if placed next to the bed, more like a jet engine, very annoying. The diffuser would give off a very strange sound, so we kept it switched off.4.) LED light: use less....So, as I missed the returning window, I wasted 40 quid on this......

Like many others who bought this product I did so during the heat wave thinking it would offer some cooler air. In my view I stand fan would’ve done just as good a job. The water reservoir is actually quite small and you have to break up ice cubes to get really cool air. Also worth noting that you would have to buy additional filters as the instructions Recommend changing at timed intervals.

Not bad - not great but not bad. Best for small spaces I suspect, cooling effect not as impressive in a medium sized room - but there! Gets through water quite quickly.
