Fitted protective gloves
I have not had these gloves out a lot. In the time I have used them they have been wet and dried and seem to be holding up well. They have not remained as snug as I might have liked but are not loostening up much. No significant problems. Good gear. Velcro could be a bit heavier.

Great work gloves!
These work gloves are great to wear when you're moving as they allow you to get a better grip on the couch or desk or box or whatever else you have to carry. They are also good for working on the car as they protect your hands from the various injuries you can acquire under the hood of a car. They are tough, long lasting gloves as well.

Nice glove, big in the wrist, hook/loop closure separating
Purchased for mountain biking due to the great reviews on mtbr. Maybe I have skinny wrists, but there is just a little bit more room than I would like to make the glove feel secure. Rest of the fit is great. After less than two months of riding 4-6 times a week, the hook and loop on one glove is starting to separate. A bit disappointing as I usually wear holes in the palms of a glove before low stress areas like the closures begin to fail. Maybe I just got a bad pair. I do put them to work so will purchase one more pair before forming my final opinion and putting them on the NG list.

Comfortable good quality work gloves
I cannot deny it - I bought these mostly because they were really good looking work gloves, ones that say "I take this job seriously". But that is just the icing. Seriously, the gloves are really comfortable the wear, even for hours, they become a second skin. They protect from work fatigue really well, but they are probably not so protective when it comes to accidents or really heavy duty stuff. Recommended!

Very good gloves
Love these gloves. Have two pair. Not "comfy" per se, but they are tough, flexible, and fit tight enough for using tools. I bought them to used as motorcycle gloves. They work well for that, too. I recommend them.

Thick, protective, though bulky and significant loss in dexterity
I'm a former USAF F-15 Crew Chief and found these worked okay on the jet, giving me security when reaching inside the various doors and panels and not getting burnt or scratched up, but for doing work on my bike as well as using them as protective gloves as riding they're far from ideal. I often have to take a glove off to do something simple. They fit a little loose on me (finger lengths a bit too long) and aren't ugly, but they are bulky and they can't do micro adjustments and have difficulty doing stuff such as handling small objects such as washers, nuts, and pins. I have to take them off to go into pockets since the backing likes to catch on everything. They can't deal with the buttons on my Sansa e260 MP3 player and even have trouble putting the earbuds in.These are a bit overprotective in the wrong areas for almost all occupations. A lumberjack that has to do a lot with brush and branches could possibly make use of these if they didn't catch. A firefighter too maybe for at least a few of their tasks, not full-time. A carpenter prone to smashing their fingertips with a hammer... oh wait, there's not much protection there. As a Crew Chief, I went a long time just using the blue/purple Nitril medical exam gloves and a rag for most things, like handling HAZMAT. I could've easily went the rest of my enlistment without them. The original Mechanix gloves are superior in every way except for protection. When you need protection for something like heat, you'd grab extra anyways, like a rag.

Great Gloves
Great gloves until the rubber wears off of the tops of the fingers. They seem to be the same gloves as the Mechanix Wear gloves without the "finger guards", only more expensive. The rubber on my pair started peeling after a couple of months of sweating in them and being washed a few time. I ended up cutting the rubber back as it peeled so as not to have the dangly bits catching on things. Not a big deal. When they finally ended up needing replacing, I opted for the protectionless gloves as I found I did not need that option as much as I thought.

The best
This is a well constructed gloves I bought it for work in the plant and it has served me well. It's eye catching and comfortable, now I can do the hard work in style. The balance between protection and flexible grip is perfect.Remember this is not for heavy construction type work grabbing sharp heavy objects for goodness sake use a heavy duty leather palm for that. This is good for the mechanical tech auto or industrial OK.

Nice!
Wondered what I bought when they arrived! They looked quite big for my hands. I have now worn them a couple of times and I seem to be growing in to them! They are not big but well padded, good quality! Like boxing gloves with dextrous fingers, my second pair of mechanix gloves.
