This ultra light keyboard is a perfect choice for net book users to carry it out. The mini design takes less space and allows you to use the mouse comfortably next to the keyboard. It is easy to get used with these crisp, responsive low profile keys since the keys are basically the same size with normal keyboard. You can just simply plug this mini keyboard into the USB port and start typing. Decent keyboard, but IMHO not worth the full price
I bought this item on reduced price as a warehouse item, which came in a generic box, in a new but opened box condition. The keyboard is sized just like the Apple compact wireless keyboard and designed in a similar way. I bought this to use with a Windows laptop, so key layout is perfect. The keys are slightly more effort to press and not as smooth as the Apple keys and they click a lot more. Overall though it it serving a purpose as a secondary keyboard that doesn't take up too much space on my desk, and can comfortably use mouse / tablet and keyboard combination without reaching too far.I don't like that the silly num lock is on by default, had a it a few days and still entering my password incorrectly as it is typing numbers (on a small keyboard the number pad is in amongst the keys such M,J,K,L etc..).Hope that helps a bit with decision making

For the money, superb, but read on regarding longevity, or lack of it
Excellent service from the Amazon seller, ordered 19 Dec, arrived by Royal Mail on 22 Dec.I am a bit obsessive about keyboards. I prefer the compact size ones, and over the years I hate to think how much money I have spent looking for the ideal keyboard. Of course it doesnt exist, but what does exist is an aweful lot of rubbish ones, and many of those are expensive. In exasperation a year ago I bought both an Apple wired keyboard and the compact Apple wireless. The compact one was just too difficult as so many keys lost to Windows no matter how I remapped I couldnt get the normal day to day usage keys available. So used the normal size one, and its been great, Apple quality really shows. However I still hanker for a compact size keyboard and saw this one on Amazon, with rave reviews. For £15, worth a punt, if no good it could join the box full of rejects I already have.It plugged and played straight into my XP system, all the keys appear to work, I've remapped a couple of the Fn keys to use as Volume Down and Up (with a Freeware product called Sharpkeys), all seems well! Now to the nitty gritty. Make no mistake, this is a facsimilie of an Apple keyboard, it looks like one, and the keys almost feel like one, but its no Apple. It does look Apple to a cursory glance but put it next to the real thing and it screams "copy". The "Aluminium" surround is not metal, its painted plastic, the key letters are painted not etched, so will probably wear off quickly, the weight of it is lighter, there isnt the same satisfying tactile feedback on key press, the whole feel and ambience of it is a poor relation to Apple, and the arrow keys are miniscule (if you are games player who uses the arrow keys you are stuffed, as I am). BUT, for £15 its great! Its a hell of a lot better than all the £50 Windoze keyboards I have ever bought. I'd rate it even if it highly were £40.Big thumbs up to the seller for providing a product that does what it claims, with excellent delivery service. I shall see how it wears. If it does prove to be fairly resilient I shall buy a couple of spares for future use.Bottom line, if you are looking for a Windows version of the Apple keyboard this isnt really it, the quality isnt there. But if you are looking for a good compact keyboard that looks good, performs well, they buy this, I am confident you wont be dissapointed. Now if only they made this in a wireless version, it would be a must buy.UPDATE: After 6 months use it broke. The Enter key no longer functions. Took off the key and checked underneath and the contacts have just stopped functioning. Ah well. I will get another as its just such a good keyboard and I cant find any decent alternative, hopefully the next will last longer than 6 months. I have reduced my initial 5 star rating to 4 stars.UPDATE 2014 - The next keyboard worked flawlessly up to today, Oct 11 2014, so a good couple of years very heavy use out of it. Its been a joy to use. So I am buying a replacement. Even thinking of stocking up on 2 or 3 for the future in case they stop making them. Still give it 4 stars, as the longevity is an issue, but I'd rather be buying one every couple of years and enjoy using it than struggling with a similar keyboard like the Keysonic I am trying to type this on.UPDATE OCT 2015Well, the latest one has lasted 8 months. The Y key has broken from its seating and is now unusable. I am not a heavy keyboard user, but I do enjoy typing on these keyboards, and their small footprint is excellent. I just wish they lasted a bit longer!I think I will get another, so either I am a fool to keep replacing them, or they are just really good IF one can accept their longevity issues.UPDATE MAY 2017Latest keyboard has broken, the Y key no longer functions.Seems like the life expectancy of these keyboards with light usage is 8 months or so.As much as I like using them thats just not long enough so wont be buying again and have changed my rating down to 2 stars.

Does the job pretty well for the price
INITIAL IMPRESSIONS:As I'm writing this, I've only been using this keyboard for a few days. I cannot comment on the longevity of this keyboard yet. I will update this periodically to report on whether it's still working.I have a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches which is a dream to type on. So why did I buy this cheap thing? Noise. My mechanical keyboard is LOUD, which is a problem if you live with people and type late into the night. I decided to find something *like* a Mac keyboard (which is nice to type on and quiet) but with Windows keys and without the hefty price tag. I chose this because it's very cheap and I'm not expecting to replace my mechanical keyboard forever. If you're looking for a permanent Windows alternative to the Mac keyboard, raise your budget and look elsewhere. As others have pointed out, these keys require a bit more force to press than a Mac keyboard. I'm used to mechanical keys that are quite light, and I'm finding myself not putting enough pressure on these keys quite frequently. If you're more heavy-handed then this might not be an issue for you.To keep it short: it's pretty quiet to type on, which is the only reason I bought this. The 'typing experience' isn't terrible but it leaves something to be desired. You get what you pay for.UPDATE 2 WEEKS LATER:Still works. Still find myself not pressing keys hard enough sometimes. Coding is a bit awkward for shortcuts such as shift + end (select til end of line), but only because you have to press the Fn key BEFORE pressing shift (or any other key), otherwise it's just like pressing shift + right. Takes getting used to, but not the end of the world. Will update this again in a few months.UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER:Still works, but then again I haven't been using it a tremendous amount. The 'C' key has become temperamental; it will quite frequently either not register your keypress at all or it will input 2 C's at the same time (e.g. you'd end up typing 'ccolour' or 'ccup'). This thing is not built to last.
